Astonished, the other driver looked in his rear view mirror and swore at Eddie. Then his car hit the pig. 8 Members Cars Since starting this section last month I've had all of 0 replies, it only takes 5 minutes to send me an ! All we would need is a couple of Pictures and some basic statistics and a brief history of the car and your ownership. Luckily I have another vehicle to write up. Again, an example: Name: Alex Hatcher Make: Austin Model: Maestro 700L Year: 1989 CC: 1275 History: Owned since October 2015 this is my recently acquired Maestro Van. I bought it after seeing it advertised in classic car weekly. Its the 700 L model meaning it has a 700 kg load capacity as opposed to the 500 version. The 'L' meaning its the 'luxury' version with a cigar lighter, carpet, cloth seats, cassette/radio, headrests and a clock as standard. It came with a reasonable amount of history with MOT's dating to the early 90's. Also I found out it was the fleet demo model, hence why it had all the 'L' options to dazzle the prospective Maestro van buyer. According to the previous owner it was owned by a bakery after that but that's all I know. Since ownership I have repaired the small amount of rust on the back of the sills and rear shock mounts, and I have lowered it to give it a better stance. I've also Painted all the trim, as on these 80's cars it makes all the difference. I have got some different alloys lined up for it too but have yet to get tyres for them. At the moment my Mother is using it to get to work but I will be driving it as my daily when my Scirocco insurance lapses in March. 9 Christmas Lunch Around 40 NDSCCC members braved the wet weather for a New Year Dinner at the Puffing Billy near Torrington on the 9th January. With great food, good company, a quiz and a raffle it was a very enjoyable evening, well done to Ian and Christine for their organisational prowess.
