You'll not only see all the newest 2014 models, you'll also be treated to sneak peeks of selected 2015 intros, concepts, and the latest in tricked out cars! The two-day event allows residents and visitors to tour the spectacular buildings they see every day but may never have entered. It allows the public to truly experience and develop a new appreciation for their hometown and the facilities that comprise Denver s rich architectural landscape. It also helps build a sense of community by opening up the doors of Denver to everyone. This year's theme is "Celebrating Neighborhood Architecture." TICKET INFORMATION Free Venue Website

2 SHOW TIMES All Day Maya: Hidden Worlds Revealed THROUGH AUGUST 24, 2014 PRESENTED BY Denver Museum of Nature & Science Maya: Hidden Worlds Revealed is the largest exhibition about the ancient Maya ever to be displayed in the United States. Through a combination of never-beforeseen artifacts, hands-on activities, and immersive environments including re-creations of an underworld cave, the starry night sky, and a vibrantly colored mural room visitors will explore the rise and eventual decline of this fascinating culture s ancient cities. More Info Denver Art Museum This world-class museum is made up of two architecturally stunning buildings one a fortress-like structure from Italian architect Gio Ponti, the other, a structure that resembles a titanium crystal with peaks and shards designed by Daniel Libeskind. Inside, find the world's greatest collection of Native American art and 68,000 other art objects, including works from European masters, Old West classics and phenomenal traveling exhibits, including Modern Masters: 20th Century Icons from the Albright-Knox Gallery (March 2-June 8, 2014). The Clyfford Still Museum Clyfford Still, considered one of the most important painters of the 20th century, was among the first generation of Abstract Expressionist artists. The museum, which opened at the end of 2011, was founded to promote the late artist's work and legacy. 4 The Blue Bear at the Colorado Convention Center The Colorado Convention Center is home to I See What You Mean, AKA the giant blue bear that peers into the Center s interior. Created by Colorado-based artist Lawrence Argent, the curious blue bear stands 40 feet tall you can walk under it and get a great photo. More Info 16th Street Mall - Pedestrian Mall Lined with 200 trees and 50,000 flowers, this festive, mile-long pedestrian promenade has 28 outdoor cafes and offers Denver's best people-watching. Renowned architect I.M. Pei designed the gray and pink granite pathway to resemble the pattern of a diamondback rattlesnake. Hop on the bus they're free and stop on every corner. After dark, horse-drawn carriages clatter up and down the Mall.
