THINGS to DO Horse Drawn Wagon Rides Enjoy a fun wagon ride with a great scenic view of Crystal Lake and downtown Myers Granary Antique Market Historic grain mill & warehouse filled with quality antiques and cool collectibles. Fine wine tasting and food sampling. 10am-5pm. Craft Projects for Kids Pumpkin decorating. Benzie Area Historical Museum Step through the Museum doors into another era bringing Benzie County and area history to life. Free Admission. Benzonia. Mills Community House - Benzonia Public Library Free all you can eat pancake breakfast, 8-10:30am, and flea market. Children s activities, watch for details. Benzonia. Sidewalk Art Contest Express your inner artist with sidewalk chalk. Artwork judged and prizes awarded by age. Lord of the Gourd Come watch Pat Harrison, Lord of the Gourd carver. Bounce House Provides hours of fun and will put a smile on any child s face! Petting Zoo and Face Painting All things friendly and furry will be featured along with artful faces. Car, Truck & Motorcycle Park & Shine Show Classic vehicles will be on display on the shores of Crystal Lake. Noon-3pm. Climbing Wall Test your climbing skills! 5 Saturday, october 12 things to do in frankfort For more information on events this weekend, contact the Frankfort- Elberta Area Chamber of Commerce , Fall Fest Parade featuring the Scottville Clown Band The Band will also provide entertainment after the parade. Music, floats, pet parade and more! Pie Eating Contest Prizes will awarded for first place only-the fastest person to eat the pie. Fee. Fall Baking Contest Ribbons and cash prizes awarded for these categories: pie, cake, bread, and cookies. Entries will be auctioned off immediately after judging! Fee. Horse-Drawn Wagon Rides Take a wonderful horse-drawn wagon ride through downtown Frankfort! Free movie at the Garden Theater Movie time fun for the whole family! Win a Bike! 6 Pumpkin Chunkin Contest Watch the giant catapults do their stuff! Pumpkins fly through air with the greatest of ease on Saturday. Pumpkin Carving Techniques Learn from the master carver and famous jack-o-lantern creator, Ed Moody. Kids Halloween Maze Straw bales arranged to be mystifying but fun for especially young children.
