Participants will be asked to do internet research on their coins and share what they have learned in the second class. This class is not intended for experienced coin buffs, but all are welcome. MN SAFETY COUNCIL 55+ Mature Driving Classes 8 hour Course- $23/person This course is required for all adults 55 and over who wish to receive a minimum discount of 10 percent on their automobile insurance. Once you have completed the eight hour course, you must take a 4 hour refresher course every 3 years to maintain your discount. Register or cancel one week prior to class. Classes do fill quickly. REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED ONE WEEK IN ADVANCE. No Walk ins. Cancellation is one week in advance. 5 DAY 1 SUNDAY, DEC 3, 2017 Our tour departs from Spring Lake Park City Hall in the morning. We head south through Wisconsin into Illinois making stops every 2 to 2 1/2 hours for breaks. Tonight we spend the evening in Effingham, IL at the HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS. You will dine on your own this evening at local restaurants located next to hotel. DAY 2 MONDAY, DEC 4, 2017 We arrive in Nashville early afternoon. Our first visit is the COUNTRY MUSIC HALL OF FAME which features outstanding display and multimedia exhibits which you are sure to enjoy. Before you start your tour you will be able to have lunch on your own at the RED ONION inside the Hall of Fame. This evening we head downtown Nashville to the WILD HORSE SALOON for included BBQ Buffet and group dancing lessons. Our lodging for the next two nights will be the HYATT PLACE NASHVILLE/OPRYLAND. (B, D) DAY 3 TUESDAY, DEC 5, 2017 This morning we start off with a GUIDED TOUR OF THE CITY with a local guide who will describe the history, geography and architecture of the city. Our tour includes visits to Historic Downtown Nashville, Honky Tonk Row, Music Row (Sony Music, RCA Victor, Studio B) The Parthenon, State Capitol and a self guided tour of the RYMAN AUDITORIUM. We then make our way to OPRY MILLS where you are on your own to shop and have lunch. After lunch we ll go to the OPRYLAND RESORT COMPLEX where you ll have time to wander through the beautifully decorated pathways. Included dinner this evening will be at OPRY BACKSTAGE Grill before heading downtown to the Ryman Auditorium for a performance of the GRAND OLE OPRY! You ll be entertained by the stars of the Opry, special guests, familiar country tunes and holiday favorites. (B, D) DAY 4 WEDNESDAY, DEC 6, 2017 We start the day with a tour of the JOHNNY CASH MUSEUM and then we bid farewell to Nashville. We will make our way north to Peoria, Illinois for the FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS a drive through spectacular holiday attraction in an electric park featuring lighted displays and floats. Following the lights tour, we ll enjoy a delicious included FAREWELL DINNER at Avanti s Ristorante for an Italian Buffet, where you can relax and talk about all the great shows, sights and fun from our Nashville Holiday!
