3 Monthly Activities All of the following monthly activities are held at 923 Migeon Avenue, Torrington and are accessible. Bingo Tuesday Evenings Oct 6 Nov 10 6:15 PM 7:45 PM Cost: $8.00 Enjoy a game of bingo with friends! Everyone wins at least two prizes. Refreshments are served. Friday Night Fun Friday Evenings Oct 9 Nov 13 6:15 PM 7:45 PM Cost: $5.00 An evening to relax, listen to music, enjoy games, and play wii with friends! Refreshments are served. Craft Group Saturday Mornings Oct 10 Nov 14 Dec 12 10:00 AM 11:30 AM Cost: $8.00 Complete two crafts to take home. Please bring a plastic bag to take crafts home in. Lunch Saturday Oct 10 Nov 14 Dec 12 11:30 AM 1:00 PM Cost: $5.00 If you are signing up for both the craft and movie groups, bring a bag lunch and stay the day! 4 Weekly Activities Bowling SkyTop Lanes Every Wednesday Sept 9 th Dec 2 nd 5:00 PM 6:16 PM Cost: $72 for 12 weeks The fall bowling league will run on Wednesdays at Skytop Lanes from Sept 9 th Dec 2 nd. To register, call by Sept. 2 nd. Call early, lanes fill up fast! Crafting Together 923 Migeon Ave Every Thursday Aug 13 Nov 19th 6:30 PM 7:45 PM Free All are welcome! Bring any craft project you would like to work on. For more information, call Robin at x202. This group is open to everyone. Special Olympics Bowling Alpine Skiing Cross Country Skiing The LARC Special Olympic Bowling Team will be meeting Wednesday evenings, starting on September 9 th at Sky Top Lanes. The cost is $72 for 12 weeks. Competition will be on Saturday November 21 st or Sunday November 22 nd. Please contact Robin by Sept 2 nd to join. The Alpine Skiing Team will have practices on Monday evenings at Mohawk Mountain, starting on January 4 th. The Winter Games competition will be the last weekend of February or the first weekend of March. Please contact Robin by Oct 31 st to join. The Cross Country Ski Team will have practices on Saturday mornings, starting on January 9 th. The Winter Games competition will be the last weekend of February or the first weekend of March. Please contact Robin by Oct 31 st to join.

Cost: $70 Includes admission and refreshments. Bring a lunch. See the fall foliage from an hour-long train ride through Litchfield County! After the ride, enjoy dinner at McDonald s. Pickup and return will be at McCoy (129 Industrial Lane). Take LARC transportation to and from McCoy. No additional money needed. Enjoy a daytime trip to the Big E! We will see a show, watch the daily parade, and visit the huge variety of vendors! Transportation will leave at 8:30 AM from 923 Migeon and McCoy and will return by 8 PM to 923 Migeon. There will be a separate return site for Winsted residents. Enjoy an afternoon and evening trip to the Big E! We will see a show, watch the daily parade, and visit the huge variety of vendors! Transportation will leave at 12:30 from McCoy and Putter Lane and will provide rides home after 8:30 PM. Enjoy a great day in the Warren Woods from the lumberjack show, antique tractor pull, crafters, chain saw carving and more! Transportation will leave 923 Migeon Avenue at 9:30 AM and return at 3:00 PM. Take the day off and travel to the Hudson River for a fall foliage boat ride on the Dutch Apple cruise. The boat ride is an hour and half. Transportation will leave at 8:30 AM from McCoy and will return at 4:30 PM to 923 Migeon Avenue.

We will listen to the music on the rides to and from the show. Transportation leaves Migeon Ave at 12:15 and returns at 6 PM. Enjoy a Sunday day of shopping at the Christmas Tree Shops and lunch at the food court of the Danbury Fair Mall. Transportation will leave Migeon Ave at 9:30 AM and return at 2:30 PM. Take a day off from work and travel to Yankee Candle in South Deerfield, MA. Stroll around the huge store and make some candle purchases. The next stop is at Magic Wings for lunch and to see the many varieties of butterflies, lizards, tortoises, and parrots. Transportation will leave McCoy at 8:30 AM and return to Migeon Ave at 4 PM. There will be a separate return site in Winsted.

There is also a seasonal lighthouse display to enjoy. Transportation will leave Migeon Ave at 8:30 AM and return at 4 PM. Spend an evening driving through the fantastic holiday light display including castles, frogs, Harry Potter, a gingerbread house and more! Dinner will be at Burger King. Transportation leaves Migeon Ave at 4:30 and will provide rides home after 8:30 PM. Two dates are offered of this popular trip! Enjoy an afternoon and evening of shopping at Enfield Mall, dinner at Denny s and the holiday lights in Springfield.
