No. 141 (E), dated 15 th January 2016, the SEAC, A.P, in its meeting held on 22 nd January 2016 resolved to request the following from the Director, Mines & Geology, A.P : 1. To prepare and submit the mining Atlas (i.e. village maps marked with all existing mine leases and already issued mine leases/ cadastral maps ) to identify the cluster formation. 2. While issuing lease to a new mine / expansion of mine, the applicability of cluster mining as per S.O. No.141 (E), dated 15 th January 2016 shall be specifically mentioned in the mine lease issued by the Dept. of Mines & Geology., A.P. The above procedure will help the entrepreneur to understand the regulatory requirements related to cluster mining in the initial stage itself enabling him to plan whether the mine project is required to prepare cluster EIA/EMP.
