The MoEF&CC has transferred the file to the SEIAA,A.P for appraisal as it is a Category B project. This proposed project was appraised in this meeting and the Committee after detailed discussions, recommended that the Project Proponent shall furnish the necessary documents of Government Orders on allocation of Patta Land for the mining to M/s.APMDC. The representative of the Project Proponent attended the meeting and has not properly explained the operational status of the mines. The committee recommended to defer the case Ha. The committee noted that MOEF&CC transferred the proposal to SEIAA, AP. The representative of the Project Proponent attended the meeting and informed they have another mine adjacent to the present mine and intended to amalgamate both mines. He requested permission for withdrawal of EC application to facilitate them to approach MOEF&CC for EC for combined mine. The Committee recommended for withdrawal of application for EC as requested by the PP. The Committee noted that there is no interstate boundary nearer to the mine and recommended Issue Poroject proponent has not attended the meeting. The committee recommended to defer the case for clarifications by PP. 3

The committee noted that the project proponent has submitted undertaking given by the M/s. Laksmi Granite and Exports that they will not restart the mining operations.
