5 GAVIO GROUP Tool road concession The Gavio Group consolidated a solid track record in road and tool road concession. Today Gavio Group is the fourth-largest tool road operator in the world with a network of approximately 3,320 km. Gavio Group is the main toll road operator in north-west Italy, with approximately 1,460 km of roads under concession. In Brazil the Group, through the co-control of Ecorodovias manages approximately 1,860 km of roads in Brazil. 7

7 GAVIO GROUP Construction The Gavio Group is active in the Construction industry through Itinera, one of the leading Italian construction companies by size, revenues and backlog. Itinera stands amongst the main players in the construction of large infrastructure and civil engineering projects with strategic focus on developing the greenfield concessions business. 8 GAVIO GROUP Engineering Design is a key issue for operators in the transport and mobility sector. The Gavio Group entrusts these activities to its own specialist technical companies -SINA and SINECO -which have an excellent track record domestically and internationally. SINA develops, studies, designs and directs new projects or major modernization programs for existing works. SINA has also specific skills in tunnel safety and surveillance systems. SINECO has specific expertise in infrastructure inspection and environmental monitoring systems. 10

12 GAVIO GROUP Information Tecnology The Gavio Group is active in the Telecommunication and Traffic Management Systems businesses through Sinelec, a company specialized in integrated systems management and online services related to toll collection and traffic data supply (info-mobility). Sinelec is a leader in the conception, design and engineering, installation and maintenance of advanced systems for transport and mobility data management. The main activities of the company related to ITS (Intelligence Transport System) technologies, as well as to advanced systems for toll collection and online systems for traffic monitoring and improving safety. Sinelec owns a wide area network and manages the acquisition and implementation all along motorways of fiber-optic cables and all kinds of equipment linked to technological systems. 14

PCA is seen as a leader on the domestic and foreign market in specific products, notably in the Construction and Large Infrastructure sector, where PCA is a clear leader in the Italian market and also heads an international dedicated team of specialists called Global Construction Team within the Brokerslink network of companies.
