3 DEADLINES Please remind the following last deadlines: Abstract submission (delayed from May 1 st ) May 21 st 2018 Final Registration and payment May 30 th th announcement June 20 th 2018 Late Registration (at + 10% rate) July 31 st 2018 LOGISTIC INFORMATION Field trip will be held along the sunny Italian coastline. Weather typically will be dry with air temperatures ranging between C and SST around C. As a consequence no rubber boots and umbrella will be necessary (we hope!). We strongly suggest to have both lightweight hiking boots and beach shoes; swimming attire, sun cream, cap, mask and snorkel for snorkelling, and beach towel are suggested. Friendship and happiness are necessary! ABSTRACT SUBMISSION The deadline of submission of the abstract has been delayed up to May 21st. The peer review process will be completed on May 25 and the 4th announcement will contain the final programme of the scientific sessions. The final acceptance of the submitted abstracts will be communicate to each corresponding Author in the next days according to the decision of the Scientific Committee. PRESENTATION Scientific sessions will be held from Monday, September 17th - in the morning - till Tuesday, September 18th - in the evening -, at the Convento San Francesco, that host the University of Bari in Taranto. Oral presentation will be limited to 15 minutes (and 5 minutes for discussion). Posters will be displayed for the entire duration of the meeting. The lecture room will be equipped with a multimedia projector. PUBBLICATION Proceedings of both paper and poster presentations may be eligible for pubblication in a scientific journal. FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE A limited number of conference-fee grants may be provided for qualified students, early career researchers and/or attendees from developing countries or from underepresented groups, who are unable to receive funding from their own institutes.
