Exceptional event in collaboration with the Town Council of Turin. For the first time a race takes place in the historic center of Turin. We hope a lot of you will come!! NOTICE TO THE CITIZENS: all the streets quoted below in the complete itinerary will be closed to traffic during the passage of the race / walk by the Turin district civil protection; the routes will be indicated at each intersection.

2 2 SEPTEMBER Routes: Long Route. Short route. The long route will be a mini-marathon with uphill prizes from 1st to 3rd place. The short route will be a walk where in every historical place you can find a guide that will illustrate the monument / historical place. * Parking spaces will be set up and volunteers will be present to help find the place. 12 INTRODUCTION TO THE PLACES TO VISIT DURING THE SHORT ROUTE. PARCO OF VALENTINO. The Castle of Valentino (Italian Castello del Valentino) is a historic building in the north-west Italian city of Turin. It is located in Parco del Valentino, and is the seat of the Architecture Faculty of the Polytechnic University of Turin. The Mole Antonelliana is a major landmark building in Turin, Italy, named after its architect, Alessandro Antonelli. A mole in Italian is a building of monumental proportions. 13 ROYAL PALACE. The Royal Palace of Turin (Italian: Palazzo Reale di Torino) is a historic palace of the House of Savoy in the city of Turin in Northern Italy. It was originally built in the 16th century and was later modernized by Christine Marie of France ( ) in the 17th century, with designs by the Baroque architect Filippo Juvarra. The palace also includes the Palazzo Chiablese and the Chapel of the Holy Shroud, the latter of which was built to house the famous Shroud of Turin. In 1946, the building became the property of the state and was turned into a museum. 14 PIAZZA CASTELLO. Piazza Castello is a city square in Turin, Italy. It is lined with museums, theaters and cafes. More information: PALATIN GATE. The Palatine Gate is a Roman Age city gate located in Turin, Italy. The gate provided access through the city walls of Julia Augusta Taurinorum (modern Turin) from the North side and, as a result, it constituted the Porta Principalis Dextra (Right-Side Main Gate) of the old town. The Palatine Gate represents the primary archaeological evidence of the city's Roman phase, and is one of the best preserved 1st-century BC Roman gateways in the world.
