2 How to get to Helsinki from Helsinki Airport When you arrive at the Helsinki Airport at Vantaa, there are three ways to get to Helsinki or your hotel: 1. Taxi Taxis are conveniently located in front of Terminals 1 and 2. Please follow the signs for Taxis. The Airport Taxi Yellow Line enables you to order a taxi in advance. Travel time from the airport to Helsinki is approximately 28 minutes. Click here for more information on Taxi services at Helsinki Airport. 2. Buses & Trains Bus 615 departs near Terminal 2 every 30 minutes (5.50 /single ticket), travel time is approximately 42 minutes. The Train P departs every 10 minutes from Lentoasema Train Station located at Helsinki Airport, travel time is approximately 35 minutes. Car rental There are many companies to choose from in the Helsinki Airport in the corridor between terminals 1 and 2. Please consult the airport map if you have trouble locating the car rental companies.

5 How to reach VTT Technical Research Centre from Helsinki Airport? VTT is situated in Otaniemi, in the city of Espoo, about 10 km from Helsinki centre and about 25 km from Helsinki Airport. Transport connections from Helsinki-Vantaa Airport: Taxi to VTT Espoo (20-30 min and price around 50 ) Airport taxi to VTT Espoo (price about 30 ); takes several passengers to the desired address and is somewhat slower (10-15 min) than the first option Finnair City Bus or by train: the Ring Rail Line to Helsinki centre (price about 6 ). From the centre take the metro to the Aalto University station (price about 6 from ticket machines but ticket used on Ring Rail line is valid on the metro as well, journey lasts approx min), for timetables and mapping out your entire journey, see 3.
