The Hotel does not provide shuttle service to/from the hotel. Airport shuttle to/from the airport is available from Triad Transportation at the cost of about $32 each way. They are located directly outside the baggage claim area at each terminal. Taxi and limousine service is also available at the airport for a higher price. There is always Uber as well CONFERENCE ROOM RATE: Single through Quad will be $ per night (rate includes tax). NOTE: Reservations must be made by October 19, 2017 to avoid higher rates. Members can make their room reservation(s) by calling Members making reservations by telephone, please be sure to inform the Hotel that you are reserving your room(s) for the ACJA/LAE Region V Conference. CONFERENCE REGISTRATION FEE: Pre-registration fee for members will be $125 until October 6 th, Pre-registration fee for guests will be $100 until October 6 th, Member registration fee will be $150 after October 6 th and on-site. Guest registration fee will be $120 after October 6 th and on-site. FIREARMS/PHYSICAL AGILITY COMPETITIONS: The Firearms & Physical Agility competitions will be held at the Greensboro Police Department s shooting range and training center. There will be no range fee. Bus transportation will be provided to/from the shooting range. Ammunition will not be available at the Range. All participants MUST attend the Safety Meeting to sign waivers. You will not be allowed to compete if you do not attend the meeting. 6 Testing Information for Region 5, 2017 All written tests will be 75 multiple choice questions with a tie breaker, if needed. The textbooks for the written tests are TBD at this time. The exam subjects are: Juvenile Justice Corrections Criminal Law Police Management and Operations *LAE Knowledge * Study the National BYLAWS and Standing Rules (both update March 2017); also review the ACJA Membership Oath & Symbolism; the National and Region V Websites and know who is sitting on the current Executive Board.
