It was thought that the ditches were of Roman date, while the soil was post-medieval. These consisted of pits, linear features and thin spreads. Most of this had been truncated in some fashion. Modern features were noted at the site. Post-medieval and modern pottery was recovered. Human remains, some articulated, were recorded across the site and left in situ. A stone cist was also recorded.
