7 . General vew of applcaton. Applcaton Prmng and fnal coatng of large areas, sealng, mpregnaton, constructon santaton, façade protecton and renovaton, rust protecton and buldng protecton, roof coatng, roof sealng, concrete santaton, as well as heavy corroson protecton. Examples of objects to be sprayed towers, brdges, sewage treatment plants and terraces.. Coatng materals Processble coatng materals Pay attenton to the Arless qualty of the coatng materals to be processed. znc dust and mcaceous ron ore pants, arless spray prmer, sprayable glue, ant-corrosve agents, thck coatng materals and btumen-lke coatng materals. No other materals should be used for sprayng wthout Wagner s approval. Flterng In spte of the hgh-pressure flter, flterng of the coatng materal s to be recommended n general (except when processng arless jont fller). Str coatng materal before commencement of work. Make sure when strrng wth motor-drven agtators that no ar bubbles are strred n. Ar bubbles dsturb when sprayng and can, n fact, lead to nterrupton of operaton. Vscosty It s possble to work wth hgh-vscosty coatng materals wth these devces. If hghly vscous coatng materals cannot be sucked up, they must be dluted n accordance wth the manufacturer s nstructon. GB 3. Descrpton of unt General vew of applcaton 3. Arless process The man area of applcaton are thck layers of hghly vscous coatng materal for large areas and a hgh consumpton of materal. A pston pump takes n the coatng materal by sucton and conveys t to the tp. Pressed through the tp at very hgh pressures, the coatng materal s atomzed. Ths hgh pressure has the effect of mcro fne atomzaton of the coatng materal. As no ar s used n ths process other than to power the pump (Ar- force materal from the spray gun (Ar-Asssted). Ths method of sprayng has the advantages of fnest atomzaton, cloudless operaton and a smooth, bubble-free surface. As well as these, the advantages of the speed of work and convenence must be mentoned. 3. Functonng of the unt The followng secton contans a bref descrpton of the techncal constructon for better understandng of the functon. Wagner SuperCoat are hgh-pressure sprayng unts drven by ar power provded by an ar compressor. An ar compressor connected by an ar hose drves the ar motor () whch then moves the pston up and down n the materal feed pump (), drawng up spray materal va the sphon hose (3). The ar regulator (4) controls the ar pressure beng allowed nto the system, and s drectly proportonate to the flud pressure beng produced. Example: SuperCoat 30: 6,9 bar (0,69 MPa) readng at ar gauge (5) = 07 bar (0,7 MPa) at pump outlet The nlet valve s opened automatcally by the upwards movement of the pston. The outlet valve s opened when the pston moves downward. The coatng materal flows under hgh pressure through the hghpressure hose to the spray gun. When the coatng materal exts from the tp t atomses. Two-component coatng materal The approprate processng tme must be adhered to exactly. Wthn ths tme rnse through and clean the unt metculously wth the approprate cleanng agents. Coatng materals wth sharp-edged addtonal materals These have a strong wear and tear effect on valves, hgh-pressure hose, spray gun and tp.
