3 This Hose Wagon is not for use with potable water. This Hose Wagon should never be used to supply Gasoline or other flammable liquids. IT IS ONLY FOR CLEAN, CLEAR WATER. Do not use water supplied from any pressure compressor such as a water blaster or tools similar in design and use. Use only household or city water pressure. Never over inflate the Pneumatic Tires. Maximum air pressure is 30 PSI. Do not operate the Hose Wagon on uneven ground. This could cause the Wagon to tip over. NEVER let children play on or around this Hose Wagon. This is a heavy cart and could cause injury if it falls, tips over, or rolls over someone s foot while being pulled, or pushed. NEVER let children climb or ride on this Hose Wagon. Always drain water out of the Hose (not included) when the Hose Wagon is not in use. This reduces weight and allows it to be moved easily. Service, if needed must be performed only by qualified repair personnel. Service or maintenance performed by unqualified personnel could result in a risk of injury. When servicing this Hose Wagon, use only identical replacement parts. Follow instructions in the Inspection, Maintenance, And Cleaning section of this manual. Maintain labels and nameplates on the tool. These carry important information. If unreadable or missing, contact Harbor Freight Tools for a replacement. 4 Unpacking When unpacking, check to make sure that the item is intact and undamaged. If any parts are missing or broken, please call Harbor Freight Tools at the number shown on the cover of this manual as soon as possible. Assembly Instructions NOTE: For additional information regarding the parts listed in the following pages, refer to the Assembly Diagram near the end of this manual. NOTE: Tools needed but not included are a straight-slot screwdriver, and an adjustable wrench. 2. Carefully remove all parts from the package. Lay out, identify, and take inventory of all parts before starting assembly. If any part or parts are missing or damaged, do not assemble. Call the number located on the front cover of this manual for assistance. Attach Rear Bracket Axle (B) to U-Shape Frame (A) using Screws (R). Tighten firmly on both sides of U-Shape Frame. See Figure 1 Attach Front Swivel Bracket Axle (C) to U-Shape Frame (A) using Screws (R). Tighten firmly on both sides. See Figure 1 Page 4

5 4. Slide 4 Pneumatic Tires (D) onto the Front Swivel Axle (C) and Rear Axle (B) at the same time. Ensure that the wheel valve stems fact outward. Put one Washer and Lock Nut (S) on each axle and tighten firmly. See Figure 2 (Wire basket not included) 5. Place Hose Drum with Crank Axle (E) on top of the U-Shape Frame (A). Ensure that Water Inlet (E1) and the Bearing Bracket (F) are on the same side of the Front Swivel Bracket Axle (C). Then put Bearing Bracket (F) over the other end of the Hose Drum with Crank Axle (E). Use Screws, Nuts and Washers (O) to fasten these parts securely. See Figure 3 above, and the Assembly Diagram on page 10 of this manual. Page 5

6 6. Insert Crank Handle (G) onto the Hose Drum (E) and align the holes on the U-Shape Frame with the Bearing Bracket (F). Use Screw, Nut and Washer (M) to securely fasten them together. See Figure 4 7. Insert the Handle Holder (J) into the Front Swivel Bracket Axle (C) first, then attach the Short Handle Bar (I). Hook the Spring (L) to the Handle Holder (J) and then to the upper locking hole in the Front Swivel Bracket (C). This will keep tension on the Handle assembly when it is released, not allowing it to fall to the ground. Lock the Handle Holder (J) and the Short Handle Bar (I) in place with Screws, Nuts and Washers (Q). Connect the Longer Handle W/Grip (H) to the Short Handle Bar (I) using Screws, Nuts and Washers (N). See Figure 5 Page 6

7 8. Attach 77 length Leader Hose (T) to the Water Inlet Coupling (E1). Be sure the rubber washer is inside the Female end. Operation Instructions 2. This Hose Wagon has the capacity to hold a 300 foot hose (not included). Attach a garden hose (not included) to the Water Outlet (E2). When you are ready to use the Hose Wagon, attach the Leader Hose (T) to a faucet. If you need to be farther from your faucet than the Leader Hose (T) will allow, you may attach another hose (not included) and run it from the faucet to the Leader Hose (T). Make sure all connections have washers and are tight so water does not leak. Turn on the faucet. When finished with your project, turn off the faucet. Do not leave the garden hose under pressure on the Hose Wagon. Open the hose nozzle (not included) and drain out all water. This will reduce weight on the wheels and allow for easier handling. Rewind the garden hose (not included) onto the Hose Drum (E). INSPECTION, MAINTENANCE, AND CLEANING BEFORE EACH USE, inspect the general condition of the Hose Wagon. Check for loose screws, misalignment or binding of moving parts, cracked or broken parts, and any other condition that may affect its safe operation. If anything abnormal is found, have the problem corrected before further use. Do not use damaged equipment.
