2 WELCOME NOTE Dear colleagues, On behalf of the Organizing and Scientific Committees, Society of Chemists and Technologists of Canton Sarajevo and the Faculty of Science in Sarajevo, it is our great pleasure and honour to invite you to the 2 nd International Congress of Chemists and Chemical Engineers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, to be held in Sarajevo on October 21 st -23 rd, 2016 in the Hollywood Hotel. The Congress will cover different areas of chemistry and chemical technology and offer an opportunity for scientists to exchange latest research findings and ideas and develope a collaboration with colleagues from Bosnia and Herzegovina and from all around the world. We cordially invite you to take part in the Congress by submitting an abstract. 4 Congress Venue Congress will be held at the Hollywood Hotel in Sarajevo. The Hollywood Hotel is located in the center of Ilidža, green oasis of Sarajevo, near Sarajevo International Airport, along the city's main traffic terminal. Nearby source of the river Bosna, extremely rare gift of nature, and a number of administrative, business, health, cultural and sports facilities and institutions make the location of hotel "Hollywood" more attractive and universal. 5 HOW TO CONTRIBUTE Oral presentations Oral presentations are planned to last no longer than 15 minutes followed by 5 minute dicussion. Poster presentations Poster presentations should be in size A0 (118,9x84,1cm) * Each registered author may submit a maximum of two abstracts per registration Submission of abstracts for either oral or poster presentations is available on line through the congress web page ( Abstract template is also available on the congress web page. LANGUAGE The official congress language is English. PUBLICATIONS, PROCEEDINGS Abstracts The abstracts in the English language will be published in a special edition of Bulletin of the Chemists and Technologists of Bosnia and Herzegovina (Indexed in Chemical Abstract Service and EBSCO Host). Accepted papers Accepted abstracts might be selected for submittion as a full paper for publication in The Bulletin of the Chemists and Technologists of Bosnia and Herzegovina (Indexed in CAS). Please indicate on your abstract whether you would like to have full paper published if selected. The deadline for submittion will be November 1 st 2016.
