2 About Szeged Szeged the 3 largest city in Hungary is the educational, scientific and cultural centre of the Southern Great Plain. The University of Szeged, the Biological Research Centre of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences and the new ELI (Extreme Light Infrastructure) Laser Research Centre; the National Theatre, Museums, Galleries and also health and wellness spas with great water experiences are very famous in this city.
