3 Aim and orientation BALCON is a communication and support project aiming to: strengthen the cooperation between the research and industrial communities from the EU and the Western Balkan Countries (geographical orientation) that are active/interested in the broader field of Monitoring and Control (scientific orientation)

Presentation Day (2/10/2012, Dubrovnik, Croatia) EU and WBC R&D teams presented their expertise and interests towards FP7-ICT 2013 Calls face-to-face discussions to support consortia building 25 research teams from both regions presented their ideas Several presentations were given during relevant regional/international events

9 Highlights (3/6) 2 on-line databases have been created i. scientific expertise of WBC R&D teams (30 teams) ii. interest towards FP7-ICT 2013 (20 teams)
