And if you think that learning at Norwegian Cruise Line s University (NCL U) takes a long time and requires a lot of work, you are sure to change your mind after your first visit. NCL U is a virtual campus on which you can learn everything about Freestyle Cruising. As a student of NCL U, you will also get the opportunity to win a wonderful cruise with Norwegian Cruise Line. All you have to do is work hard to collect points and there are many ways to obtain Freestyle points. And many new ways are constantly added, as we are continuously expanding our campus. In this way, your learning at NCL U will be completely freestyle: You decide when, how and how many points you want to collect. So what exactly can you do at NCL U? With our range of courses, you can become one of our most informed and most successful sales partners. In addition, you can ask our Dean for assistance, get in contact with fellow students and play online bowling and other games when you want to take a sporty break. Here you can find: - All the benefits for NCL U s hard working students - NCL U s FAQs - Information on your personal account - General information and tips on the Freestyle point system and your points achieved so far EDUCATION This is the heart of NCL U: Here you will find everything that you should know about Norwegian Cruise Line s Freestyle Cruising. You need a total of points to become a Certified Norwegian Cruise Line Expert. And on the way to getting it, you can look forward to many rewarding stages. NCL U Courses and Electives To make learning easy and entertaining for you, we offer you a concept that is completely Freestyle simply start with the NCL U Courses and then expand your knowledge step by step with the NCL U Electives. So the goal is to gain knowledge and collect points. And you can do this as follows: - We offer you NCL U Courses that are each worth Freestyle points. The NCL U Electives expand your knowledge and go a bit more into detail on specific Freestyle Cruising topics. For each of these Electives, you will receive Freestyle points. The NCL U range of Courses and Electives imparts all the basics for your successful sales of Norwegian s cruises. It is thus a basis for you to increase your cruise turnover. - You can complete each Course or Elective based on your personal speed, which means that if required you can take a break and recommence the class at a later stage. 3 The Freestyle Point System Every point that you collect at NCL U will take you one step closer to your Freestyle certificates and the Freestyle diploma. This is what the NCL U levels look like: Level 1: Freestyle Specialist ( Freestyle points) - Certificate (PDF download) - Entry into the prize draw to win a Norwegian cruise (three nights within Europe for two people, inside stateroom, cruise only) for Freestyle Specialists* Level 2: Freestyle Professional ( Freestyle points) - Certificate (PDF download) - Entry into the prize draw to win a Norwegian cruise (three nights within Europe for two people, balcony stateroom, cruise only) for Freestyle Professionals* Level 3: Freestyle Master ( Freestyle points) - NCL U Freestyle Master certificate (PDF download) - Entry into the prize draw to win a Norwegian cruise (seven nights to a destination of your choice for two people, balcony stateroom, cruise only) for Freestyle Master* Level 4: Certified Norwegian Cruise Line Expert ( Freestyle points) - NCL U Certified Norwegian Cruise Line Expert diploma (PDF download) - Entry into the prize draw to win a Norwegian cruise (seven nights to a destination of your choice for two people, balcony stateroom, in U.S. $150 on-board credit, cruise only) for Certified Norwegian Cruise Line Experts* * To enter into prize draws for cruises, the NCL U status at the time of the prize draw is the qualifying status.
