3 COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT // COMMUNITY & CHARITY BREEDEN QUARTERLY Virginia Symphony Orchestra celebrated the conclusion of the Symphony by the Sea 2017 summer series. The free to the public concert series is proudly sponsored by The Breeden Company, where six concerts are performed throughout the summer at Neptune s Park on 31st Street and Atlantic Avenue by Virginia Symphony Orchestra and Virginia Beach Symphonicity. Employees of the MEET GIGI She is currently a senior lease-up specialist Initially applied for an administrative position Previously worked in a law firm, restaurant, as an actress, fitness instructor and model. Her hobbies include kickboxing, swimming and crossfit. When you re doing what you love, it doesn t feel like work. GiGi Orlina has spent a decade with The Breeden Company and carries the role of senior lease-up specialist respon sible for pre-leasing new apartment communi ties. For the past two years, she s worked at Chesapeake s Red Knot at Edinburgh and is currently assigned to Harbor Vista at Crawford Street, Breeden s new property on the Portsmouth waterfront. Gigi has proven to be valuable to our organization and possesses the quality and skillset that The Breeden Company stands for. MEET FRANK He has been with the company for over 41 years. He was part-owner of a fast food franchise. Served in the Army from He enjoys yard work, spending time with family and friends, and golf. Some things change over time, while others remain the same. According to Frank Wiley, the Breeden standard hasn t altered from its first days, he should know. Wiley is one of its earliest hires. We ve changed from a small company to a large one but we ve always had dedicated, honest employees who support each other, he explained. He is the company s senior vice president, responsible for the management of all pre-construction and construction processes for commercial and residential properties. 3

AQUA ON 25TH STREET GRAND OPENING The Breeden Company marked the completion of its oceanfront property Aqua on 25th Street with a Grand Opening Celebration where guests were treated to a property tour that displayed the multitude of amenities the property offers. City of Virginia Beach Mayor, William Sessoms, served as a guest speaker and many other honored guests joined The Breeden Company team to celebrate this event. Construction began in early spring of 2015 as part of a three phase construction effort consisting of a 598 space parking garage, ifly Virginia Beach and 4 Aqua on 25th Street. Built by Breeden Construction, the project proves to be glorious in its design and structural concept. Located at the corner of 25th Street and Pacific Avenue at the Virginia Beach oceanfront, the property consists of 147 residences (studio, 1, 2, & 3 bedrooms) with intimate gathering courtyards/balconies, a resort-style saline pool, a rooftop lounge with panoramic ocean views, and state of the art fitness center. The Breeden Company s signature Enriched Lifestyle Community, Aqua on 25th Street has been recognized by Urban Land Institute for Best Public/Private Partnership and the City of Virginia Beach Planning Commission.

HARBOR VISTA AT CRAWFORD STREET GRAND OPENING Situated in the heart of the historic Olde Towne neighborhood, The Breeden Company has announced the completion of its newly constructed Enriched Lifestyle project in Portsmouth. The Grand Opening Celebration marked the conclusion of construction and the presentation of designer details with luxurious touches of a modern home accompanied by a state-of-the-art fitness facility and a roof deck lounge that overlooks the marina. The event proved delightful as The Honorable John Rowe spoke congratulatory remarks and provided insight of the future developments within the City of Portsmouth. This project is expected to be followed by another luxury community located at the North Pier site that sits adjacent to the Portsmouth Pavilion. 5

It will include a total of 14 three-story and three/four split level buildings with enclosed corridors as well as 42 garages, 18 detached garages and 142 storage spaces. The property is located adjacent to Jefferson Davis Highway and less than 2 miles from I-95. 6
