3 EVEN Alpharetta, GA $14.6 MILLION Georgia s first EVEN Hotel, the six-story, 132-room EVEN Hotel in Alpharetta, will be located across from the new $600 million mixed-use Avalon development. Noel Epelboim, CEO and President of Epelboim Development Group LLC, is the project s sponsor and developer, and InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) is the project s manager and joint venture partner.
4 VANTAGE APARTMENTS St. Petersburg, FL $35.5 MILLION MULTIFAMILY The Vantage multifamily 11-story, high-rise will consist of 211, Class A rental homes. The property developer is Michigan-based DevMar Development.
5 ALOFT Glendale, CA $17.6 MILLION The new six-story, 85-key hotel is being developed by local developer Michael Tchakmakjian.
6 GALE BOUTIQUE & RESIDENCES Fort Lauderdale, FL $54.7 MILLION S AND RESIDENTIAL The new 96-room boutique hotel is being developed by Harvey Hernandez, founder of Miami-based Newgard Development Group, who also developed the adjacent 12-story, 129-unit luxury Gale Residences financed by Hall Structured Finance.
7 HYATT ANDAZ Palm Springs, CA $54.8 MILLION The new 150-room Hyatt Andaz resort hotel and accompanying retail in Palm Springs, California is being developed by Rael Development Corporation.
8 HYATT PLACE Houston, TX $22.8 MILLION HSF financed the adaptive reuse of the 1950 s era Southwestern Bell Telephone Company office building in Downtown Houston being converted into a 150-key all-suite, select service Hyatt Place Hotel. The project development team includes Andy and Nick Patel, co-owners of Pride Management.
9 CAMBRIA SUITES Charleston, SC $17.3 MILLION The 4-story, 126-room Cambria Suites in Charleston, South Carolina was sponsored by a joint venture partnership between RREAF Holdings and Upland Lodging.
10 RESIDENCE INN BY MARRIOTT Mesa, AZ $17.3 MILLION The 4-story, 127-room Residence Inn by Marriott will provide a convenient and upscale extended stay option for guests wanting to visit Arizona s third largest city and experience the region s emerging medical and tech corridor. Suky and Jas Khangura, co-owners of Khangura Hotels, are the project developers.
11 HYATT HOUSE HYATT PLACE East Moline, IL $23.2 MILLION The nine-story, 233-room hotel will feature 134 upscale Hyatt Place rooms and 99 all-suite extended-stay Hyatt House rooms, and will be operated by Olympia Hotel Management. This will be Hyatt s first development of a blended dual-flagged hotel. Dan Murphy with Great River, LLC is the project s sponsor.
12 PARK JAMES Menlo Park, CA $26 MILLION The 61-key boutique hotel is being developed by California-based Pollock Realty Corporation. Orange County-based Broughton Hotels, a leader in the boutique hotel industry, will manage the hotel.
13 CAMBRIA SUITES Sonoma County, CA $22.1 MILLION The hotel will feature 135 keys and is located next to several wineries and within a few miles of Sonoma State University and the Graton Resort & Casino. The project developers are Newport Beach, California-based David and Andrew Wood of Stratus Development Partners LLC.
14 CAMBRIA SUITES Napa, CA $19.8 MILLION The Cambria Suites in Napa will be a 90-room hotel centrally located 1.5 miles south of Downtown Napa. The project developers are Newport Beach, California-based David and Andrew Wood of Stratus Development Partners LLC.
15 SPRINGHILL SUITES Newark, DE $14.7 MILLION 1ST MORTGAGE The 125-room hotel will be the first SpringHill Suites in the state of Delaware, located one mile from the main campus of the University of Delaware. George Danneman, along with Newark-based Danneman Hospitality LLC, is the project owner.
16 MILLENNIUM AT CITRUS RIDGE APARTMENTS Kissimmee, FL $37.7 MILLION RESIDENTIAL/APARTMENTS The Millennium at Citrus Ridge will consist of 326 luxury rental apartment units throughout nine buildings, located just two miles from the Walt Disney World Resort and Theme Park complex. The project developer is Florida-based DLC Residential.
17 TOWNEPLACE SUITES Milwaukee, WI $10.9 MILLION The project developer is Bob Gustin with Albuquerque-based Gustin Property Group. Located within the Drexel Town Square development, the 112-key hotel will be the only hotel in the entire submarket that is located within a pedestrian-friendly, energetic development, just steps from multiple dining, retail and entertainment destinations.
