2 2 Invitation to the International Summer Camp North to South Anatolia FROM THE NORTH TO THE SOUTH OF TURKEY SAMSUN ROTARY & MERSIN ROTARY CLUBS SHORT TERM SUMMER CAMP (13th July /29th July) The Name of the Camp; FROM THE NORTH TO THE SOUTH of TURKEY The Theme by SAMSUN ROTARY CLUB; NATURAL BEAUTIES of TURKEY (ART & DANCE Turkish Marbling Art, Edirne Kari Art, Lithograpy & Turkish Folk Dances) (29th August-14th July) While the general theme of our short term Exchange program is Natural Beauties of Turkey From North to South ; our aim for this particular year is to specially focus on Turkish Art and Folk Dances from Past to Present & from North to South of Turkey. Workshops to be organized during the camp can be summarized as follows: Folk dances of Samsun and other regional folk dances from all over Turkey (misket, çiftetelli, Roman, kolbastı etc.) Traditional Turkish handicrafts recognized all over Turkey and the World for centuries. Marbling Art, Edirne KARİ Art, Lithograpy for which participants will be receiving PARTICIPATION CERTIFICATES at the end of the program. The Program to start on: 13th of July /14th of July

9 9 Invitation to the International Summer Camp North to South Anatolia SHORT TERM SUMMER CAMP FROM THE NORTH TO THE SOUTH TURKIYE SAMSUN ROTARY CLUB & MERSIN ROTARY CLUB 13 th 29 th July 2018 The programme of MERSİN ROTARY CLUB Beauty Over the Sea (SAILING) The programme will give chance to the young people to learn how to sail during the camp and have a certificate. During the whole week they will have sailing lesson in the afternoon. It is very important for exchange students who are under 18, they suppose to bring the permission for swimming from their relatives. 22th July (Sunday) Greeting and meeting at the Cappadocia with Club members and families. Goodbye to Samsun Rotary members-cappadocia and moving to Mersin.
