1 Camp Archbald 100 Archbald Lane Kingsley, PA Camp Archbald, the second oldest Girl Scout camp in the nation, is nestled in the woods of the Endless Mountains and is home to endless possibilities for girls. Girls will have an opportunity to experience a hidden charm. With varied living accommodations, girls have the opportunity to progress from lodge accommodations to tents/cabins. With many hiking trails, fields and court activities, the greatest feature to the camp is the 43- acre lake. Swimming and boating are both enjoyable activities for all ages. Contact List: 1. Please review this information before your stay. Check in/check out information: Units will be open when your group arrives. Use the call list if assistance is needed on the day of camp/upon your arrival. At the earliest, check in is at 3pm and check out by 1pm. Before leaving camp, please clean up using the checklist on the campsite report. Sign and leave report in your unit. Dumpsters at camp are located behind the Dining Hall, Trash and Recycling are separate. Please take care to separate.

9 Departure Checklist Please make sure you have checked all of the following that apply before you leave. ALWAYS LEAVE A CAMPSITE BETTER THAN YOU FOUND IT. Clean the inside of the building by sweeping and mopping the floors Remove all food from refrigerators (do NOT turn off) Turn back thermostat in heated buildings to 55 degrees (if applicable) Scrub benches, tables, and counter tops in unit houses or kitchen shelters. Clean restroom facilities including toilets and/or latrines. Let indoor fireplace fires burn out naturally. Throwing water on them causes breakage to grates and Irons. Use only wood indoors. Never use charcoal indoors. Clean fireplaces distribute cold ashes in woods. Sweep tent and shelter floors. Put the sweepings in the trash (not outside your tent/ground) Leave tents with corners laced, flaps tied in bow, tent corners and tent flaps not tied to supporting beam. (Tents hold up in bad weather this way.) Be sure all inside and outside spigots are turned off. Close and lock all doors and windows, turn off lights. Return borrowed equipment or tools to proper place. Oil (clean) all cast iron skillets to prevent rust. Take all trash and recycling to designated dumpster (usually next to the dining hall/parking lot, separate when applicable) Fill out this Campsite Report and leave in unit. *By signing this campsite report, you have confirmed that the check list has been completed and the site was left in better condition than you found it.
