1 Camp Furnace Hills 1610 Girl Scout Road Denver, PA Camp Furnace Hills is located in northeastern Lancaster County. Accommodations range from modern facilities to rustic cabins and tents. The 19th century bank house located on the property is on the National Registry of Historic Places and home to the Foxfire Program. Founded in 1947, Camp Furnace Hills is adjacent to the Middle Creek Wildlife Preserve with easy access to the Horseshoe Trail, and offers a traverse wall, swimming pool and archery. In the summer, overnight accommodations can house up to 285 people. In the winter, established units can accommodate up to 113 people overnight. There is also space available for up to 500 people for daytime events. Contact List 1. Please review this information before your stay at Camp Furnace Hills. Check in/check out information Camp Furnace Hills ranger lives on the camp property. Year Round units will have a lock on the door. The outdoor experience assistant will call or you the code to your building the week before your trip. Seasonal units will be available upon arrival. If you are renting additional equipment, the ranger will be in touch with you prior to your camping trip. Contact the camp ranger directly if assistance is needed on the day of camp/upon your arrival. At the earliest, check in is at 3pm and check out by 1pm. Before leaving camp, please clean up using the checklist on the campsite report. Sign and leave report in your unit for the Ranger.
