1 Page 1 Checklist This is a general list to help get you started. Some items may not apply, depending on if you are tent camping, staying in a camper, how long you are staying, etc. Water Cooler Other Coolers Tarps Duct Tape Rug - big one or a foot rug/welcome mat Tent Stakes - extra long Mallet for pounding tent stakes Ax Lantern Little propane canisters I use a separate one for meat & highly perishable products, that is only opened sparingly. I have another for more common items like snacks and beverages. Good to have if you have room to bring them. Cover things when it rains, use as a base for a tent, all-around helpful Do I need to go into the many uses of duct tape? Nice to have if you are using a camper, to put outside the door. Feels better to walk on in bare feet than hot pavement, helps collect sand before entering camper. Necessary to have a foot rug/welcome mat for outside the tent to keep your shoes and sand outside of the tent Preferably metal, extra long tent stakes. Get for whatever you will be staking down including screen houses. These are usually found at Walmart just off the island and are cheap. Get a lot. for cutting kindling and/or pounding tent stakes. We use the back side of our ax to pound our stakes. extra wicks if using propane for lantern, propane stoves, etc. Big propane canister if hooking up to a camper to cook Camp Grill Scissors Twine or heavy duty string Poles to make laundry line Collapsible Laundry drying rack Batteries Little flashlights Tent Fan Tent Water Repellent Spray various uses. Always handy to have. String up your laundry line, etc. if you use, I don t bother. this is what I use Lots. All shapes and sizes. personal use, walking to and from bath houses, etc. in the dark when we tent camped, loved this. It s a little fan you hang inside from the top of the tent and it s very quiet and has an LED light on it as well. I still use it in my popup above my bed. Can t recommend highly enough! I prefer this as it is safer to use and transport, and lasts longer on the wood than traditional lighter fluid. those little fire starter bricks are wonderful for starting campfires. Trust me. It saves time and stress. to secure coolers. Trust me. Bungees alone are not enough to keep the ponies out!! Can purchase these in the automotive section in walmart. if crabbing if crabbing if crabbing if clamming. Can also be rented. handy for going out to the bayside, walking in marshy areas, crabbing and clamming for camper especially for tent campers, handy for everyone if using camper I just take small plastic grocery bags. This is because it s good to get in the habit of taking your trash to the dumpster every evening, and you probably won t need a full garbage bag. in my experience, nothing but DEET works to keep the mosquitos at bay (pun intended) we have a little one that we keep our phones, keys, chapstick, wallets in when we go out to the beach or bay.

But also to use as shower shoes just nice to have extra, just in case make sure it s battery operated unless you have a camper to plug it into. We take our satellite radio. if you are so inclined. don t forget the charger extra batteries if possible. you can charge them in the bath houses or in your vehicle if you don t have a camper with electric and cable or armband for runners to carry snacks, etc. on back of bike especially if towing a camper. such as a tire wrench, tie downs, tow strap, oil, transmission fluid, radiator fluid, top off washer fluid, jumper cables, etc.
