2 Teens on Wheels August 2-5, 2010 TALL PINES DAY CAMP COUNSELOR-IN-TRAINING (CIT) ADD-ON TRAVEL PROGRAM Tall Pines Day Camp has partnered with David Tours & Travel of Philadelphia, PA to provide your children with a wonderful add-on trip. During the sixth week of camp, all Counselors-in-Training (CITs) are eligible to go on the Baltimore/Washington DC/Virginia trip. Tall Pines will provide our own adult staff to supervise our campers at a minimum ratio of one staff member for every 10 campers. Once again, Scott Klear will supervise the campers and staff. The trip is an add-on and requires an additional payment of $799. If you register by January 1st, the cost will be $750. All campers must be registered for a minimum of two weeks at Tall Pines. We calculate the cost of the trip by adding the price of the trip plus the cost of camp as determined by the number of weeks your child attends camp. We do not include the week they will be on the trip. For example, if you attend camp for three weeks and wish to add the trip for a fourth week it will be calculated as follows: three weeks of camp is $2175 plus the trip for $750 is a total tuition of $2925. Rates are based upon quad occupancy. The trip departs Monday morning and returns on Thursday evening. Campers should spend the day at home to rest on Friday. There will be no transportation to Tall Pines on Friday. The trip requires a separate deposit. The deposit is due at time of enrollment (see last page). The final balance is due by May 1st. A minimum of thirty campers is required for the trip. If the required number of campers is not met by June 1st then the trip will be cancelled and monies will be refunded. Details for each trip will be provided closer to the time of travel. A July orientation meeting will be held with the campers. PACKAGE INCLUDES: Deluxe round trip motor coach transportation. Hotel accommodations based on quad occupancy. Tickets to all events, tours, theme parks and shows. All meals, meals at rest stops, taxes, tips and gratuities. All trips supervised by Tall Pines staff at a minimum ratio of one staff member for every 10 campers.

3 PRELIMINARY ITINERARY: WASHINGTON, DC WILLIAMSBURG, VA BALTIMORE, MD DAY 1 August 2, 2010 Depart Monday at approximately 8:00 am requires parent drop-off at Tall Pines. Tour Washington, DC. Free time at the Smithsonian Museum of choice. Lunch at the Old Post Office Pavilion. During the afternoon, participants will have a fun tour of Washington, DC, then travel to Hotel in Virginia. Pizza pool party that evening. DAY 2 August 3, 2010 Breakfast at Hotel. Busch Garden, The Old Country in Williamsburg, VA. Free time at the theme park. Some of the roller coasters you can experience: Griffon Roller Coaster set amid a French village. Twists and turns give riders and adrenaline pumping adventure. Loch Ness Monster has interlocking double-looping rollercoaster gives you a peek at Scotland s infamous monster with spine tingling, breathtaking speeds up to 60 mph. Lunch at park with voucher. Buffet dinner at Ryan s Restaurant. Evening at same Hotel in Virginia. DAY 3 August 4, 2010 Breakfast at Hotel. Six Flags America Amusement Park outside of Washington, DC in Maryland. They have speed defying thrill rides like Superman Ride of Steel, and a totally twisted wooden roller coaster. Lunch at the theme park. Orioles game this evening if scheduled. Buffet dinner at Golden Corral Restaurant. Overnight at Baltimore hotel. DAY 4 August 5, 2010 Breakfast at Hotel. Baltimore Harbor Enjoy a Duck Tour of Baltimore, which operates a fleet of World War II era DUKWs. These amphibious vehicles played an important role in both the European and Pacific Theater of war. Campers will travel via land and water for a tour of Baltimore. Free time to explore Baltimore Inner Harbor. ESPN Zone Lunch or dinner buffet with Game card. Orioles game if not scheduled for Wednesday. Return to Tall Pines Day Camp.

4 FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS How are coaches selected? We only employ deluxe motor coaches from reputable companies with outstanding records for safety and levels of insurance as required by law. DAVID TOURS & TRAVEL, prior to departure, insure that the drivers have exemplary driving records reviews all driver abstracts. The coaches are all equipped with a lavatory, VCR/DVD capability, a functioning PA system, comfortable seats and overhead bins to store personal items. Who provides the tour director? A trained member of DAVID TOURS & TRAVEL staff accompanies all trips to insure that all arrangements are taken care of while on the road. These staff members are in communication with the home office and enable camp staff members to focus on the specific needs of the campers. Who supervises the children? DAVID TOURS & TRAVEL provides Tall Pines with a Tour Leader to handle all of the details regarding the trips. Scott Klear, along with the other staff members from Tall Pines, will provide supervision for our campers. Listed below are some of Scott s qualifications: BA in Education from Temple University, M.Ed. from Beaver College. Currently in his eleventh year as a teacher at Beck Middle School in Cherry Hill. Middle School coach for soccer, softball and wrestling. Takes students to Mt. Misery environmental education program for a week overnight. He has been at Tall Pines as a Senior Counselor for five years and has been the Director of Senior Camp Girls since Scott also has an additional 15 years of experience as a counselor at local day and resident camps. Led CIT trip to Boston and Disney in 2007 & Baltimore/VA in 2008 for Tall Pines. How are specific needs for campers addressed? Working with the administration of Tall Pines, the DAVID TOURS & TRAVEL representative will arrange for all dietary constraints to be addressed prior to departure. In addition, we will have a listing of all emergency medical facilities that can be used while on route. The camp staff will maintain health forms and emergency contacts. How is security arranged while staying at hotels? DAVID TOURS & TRAVEL provides security at each hotel we use. These companies are all bonded and insured, and are responsible only for the block of rooms that will house our campers and staff. The security guard will report to Scott Klear and be introduced to the camp staff members and will sit in the hallway during the evening to insure the safety of all participants, enabling the staff to get a good night s sleep. The security guard will be in a uniform that will designate his role.
