Presentation has been video-recorded by John Boutet and can be accessed at Includes information on: Real Estate Sales, Occupancy Rates, Vacancies, Permits, Property Transfer, Foreclosure, Demographics, Utilities, Police & Fire, etc. Filters break the information down further. This resource can be used by the common person as opposed to technically computer-trained programmers. City of Rochester Database: PROJECTS - Includes all of the plans that have been submitted, past or present, for all neighborhoods. Excellent resource for grant writing and neighborhood planning.

Encouraging use of phone tree Pursuing grants to buld kiosk at Memorial Hamm Site and for a Job Fair in Troup St. Park Cottage Street Block Club working toward Legacy Park Station (LPS) goals. City Council not fully behind yet: police over-taxed, will it be perceived as cash-grabbing by City, etc. Walking & biking accidents are the issue. Invite Shawn Dunwoody to talk to us about Roc the Riverway. Large initiative to exploring ways and developing a plan for development of the riverway in regards to activities, art, music, etc. Two Informational Meetings will be held in April; Jen has recommended SWCC as one of the meetings. John Boutet posed a thought brought up at the Education Committee meeting to offer low-rent buildings to encourage teachers to live in the City. Neighborhoods are often perceived as dangerous with no personal experience. John Lightfoot noted that there are many teachers in the District that live in the City and do right by the students and we shouldn t cater to teachers who don t see the value in living in the City.
