4 Mission Statement To enrich the quality of life for all people, to foster tradition Christian values and nurture relationships through opportunities for renewal and growth spiritual, intellectual, cultural and physical, while preserving Lakeside s heritage.
5 Strategic Goals 1. Preserve Lakeside s heritage, traditions and culture as expressed in our mission and vision statement 2. Become known as a center of Chautauqua programming excellence 3. Assure Lakeside is a safe, healthy and aesthetically pleasing community 4. Address 21 st guest expectations 5. Develop the financial resources needed for long-term sustainability and advancement

Record level of investment Over $2.4 million past 24 months 2014 Lakeside Fund $ 551,654 raised 3 rd highest in Lakeside s history Thanks to Tom & Debbie Jones and Doug & Kathy Bohl, Lakeside Fund co-chairs Thanks to all of our Lakeside Ambassadors Increased gifts to endowment $ 159,947 (Highest in last 10 yrs.)

Last summer: Accommodations Task Force brought proposal to board Board took no action but agreed to present project to community for transparency Ended season with board chair communication Pursue historically-sensitive restoration in current footprint Financial model relies upon better occupancy/rate structure and fall and spring shoulder seasons Meeting with restoration contractors who can provide actual costs of construction

We ve been listening We ve cut back the project No addition of guest rooms and conference space No reliance on group business during winter months No consideration of alcohol sales Accommodations and Guest Services Committee will bring recommendation to the full board on May 15 th
