Included in this booklet is an introduction from the new cooks and a look at what they will be providing us in the restaurant. Check it out! VILLAGE GOLFERS SUNDAY AFTERNOONS The village van will leave here at 1.30pm and golf will begin at 2.00pm We will be playing Ambrose & pay green fees of $7.00 a round. We hold a social gathering after golf in the Lounge back at the Village just bring your nibbles and something to drink. For any further information please give Betty Harding a call. Note: The golf course is not flat so you have to be a bit more mobile. Pop your name on the list on the noticeboard if you would like to come 1
2 VILLAGE LIBRARY All residents are welcome to use the library at any time, just help yourself, no date stamps required. The only thing that is requested is that you return the books ASAP & when you return the books please put them in the RED Bin. LINE DANCING VERY POPULAR + LOW IMPACT FITNESS We have a beginners Line Dancing class in the village. Every Monday at 11.00am for 1 hour and cost $2.00. Contact Faye Jervis ph: for more information SWING DANCING Swing Dancing: Tuesday 4 th and 18 th October 10.30am For a low impact fitness class that is very enjoyable and extremely good for you. THURSDAY SUPERMARKET SHOPPING Due to a large number of residents wishing to go shopping on a Thursday, we are now running two trips to Countdown Tikipunga. Every Thursday Trip 1 (as before) Leave 8.45 am - Pick up at 9.45 am Trip 2 (New) Leave 9.15am - Pick up at am As we are limited to 9 people for each trip, we ask that you phone Jo to book in. 6 ANNUAL FLOWER & VEGE SHOW NOVEMBER 26TH This was so successful last year that we are going to make it an annual Event. We are letting you know about this now, so as you can pamper those flowers and veges, and have them looking pristine for the show. We will be putting out a schedule of the categories available in the next couple of weeks, we are even toying with have a baking section.
