This event will run alongside University of Scouting and will be held at Gaston College. Scouting for Food Units should mark their calendars and participate in the traditional community service project that is vital to agencies across the council. Look for additional support materials for the 2018 Scouting for Food campaign. Popcorn Orders Due 11/21/18 ALL unit orders must be submitted to the council by 5pm on Wednesday, November 21 st. Council will confirm pickup locations prior to the start of the 2018 sale. Christmas Holiday Schedule Please note that from Dec. 22 nd through Dec. 25 th the Piedmont Scout Reservation will be closed for all activities. The Council Office and Scout Shop will be closed on the 24 th and 25 th for families to celebrate together. December Recharters Please assist your District Executive and District Commissioner by having your December recharter completed by Dec. 14 th. This will benefit your district greatly and have your unit processed on time in January of. 2018

This one-day event is to earn merit badges and fellowship with over 1200 Scouts from across the Piedmont Council. Council Banquet- Lincolnton, NC - Mark your calendars for Wed., Feb. 27 th for the annual Council Banquet. This is a recognition banquet for you the volunteers. We will recognize our Silver Beavers and nominations are due in the council office by Friday, Dec. 14 th. Scout Sunday Scout Sunday is officially on Feb. 3, but we encourage ALL units sponsored by a religious organization to conduct a Scout Sunday. This is a great opportunity to say thank you to the charter and recognize your leaders. Several Religious awards can be presented to youth and adults during Scout Sunday.

Council will confirm pickup locations prior to the start of the sale. Christmas Holiday Schedule Please note that from Dec. 21 st through Dec. 25 th the Piedmont Scout Reservation will be closed for all activities. The Council Office will be closed on the 24 rd - 25 th for families to celebrate together. December Recharters Please assist your District Executive and District Commissioner by having your December recharter completed by Dec. 13 th. This will benefit your district greatly and have your unit processed on time in January of 2020.
