1 Sample Yearly Calendar for a Cub Scout pack We suggest: Align your calendar to the school year. No need to meet during the summer, but doing one event per month qualifies you for the National Summertime Pack Award and keeps Scouts excited to start back in the fall. Make sure Cubmaster, Den Leaders, and assistants can attend monthly a fun training and networking meeting for leaders. Schedule for all 6 locations is at scoutinghawaii.org/calendar If your pack is brand-new, try meeting 2 to 4 times per month at the same place and time to keep it simple. Call one of these meetings a pack meeting. Later on, your dens can break off and meet on their own schedule. They ll usually still skip the week that the pack meeting is held.
