2 As British olumbia s largest sports and entertainment facility, B Place has hosted a multitude of great events right in the heart of Vancouver s downtown entertainment district. For nearly 30 years we ve held a broad range of local and international spectator events. We welcomed the world as the host venue of the 2010 Winter Olympic Games, and have hosted international music icons U2, A/D and Madonna. In 2011, we underwent a massive revitalization that brought B Place to even greater heights. The installation of our new iconic, retractable roof makes us an all-weather, year-round venue. Improved acoustics, North America s second largest video display board, and a visually stunning LD ribbon board add to an already breathtaking venue. Since reopening we ve hosted the 99th Grey up hampionship, Roger Waters: The Wall Live, the ONAAF Women s Olympic Soccer Qualifying Tournament, PlayDome - anada s Largest Indoor arnival, and the Advanced Auto Parts Monster Jam.
