Close to parks and beaches, it is just 40 minutes from LSI Vancouver by public transportation. Rooms: Private rooms in an apartment-style residence. Living area, kitchen and washroom is shared with other guests. Private Bathroom: No, shared bathroom in each apartment. Meals: Breakfast only. Facilities: TV lounge, internet café, fitness facilities, coin laundry. Prices (per person per week): $465. Availability: Summer only. Other: Bed linens are provided. Students advised to bring towels and dishes. 24 hour security. Minimum age: 18. Hostelling International Downtown YWCA Residence Hotel Location: Centrally located in downtown Vancouver. It is a 15 minute walk from LSI. Rooms: Single and double rooms available; shared, private or semi-private bathroom. Private Bathroom: Yes, an available option. Meals: Self-catering. Facilities: A television lounge, internet café, lounge areas, fitness facilities, kitchen for selfcatering but not all utensils are provided. Coin laundry is available. Prices (per person per day): Single rooms from $80 (off season) to $90 (peak season). Double room from $90 (off season) to $115 (peak season). Facilities: Parking, gift shop, lounge area, room service, outdoor heated pool, fitness centre, restaurant, hair/beauty salon, internet access. Prices: Room only rates from $90 per night (off season) and from $155 per night (peak season) based on single or double occupancy. Discounted monthly rates are also available. Lord Stanley Suites on the Park Location: In downtown Vancouver, next to the world-famous Stanley Park, the Lord Stanley is a 10 minute bus ride or 25 minute walk to LSI. Rooms: Fully furnished one and two bedroom deluxe suites with panoramic harbour, park and mountain views. Meals: Self-catering. Prices: $880-$1500 per week / $2580-$3985 per month. 6 Accommodation in Toronto: Residences There are two Ryerson University residences available to students during the summer months: The International Living & Learning Centre (ILLC) and Pitman Hall. Both buildings are on the university s downtown campus, two blocks from the Eaton Centre on Dundas Street East, only 4 short subway stops from LSI. TORONTO INTERNATIONAL LIVING AND LEARNING CENTRE (ILLC) - RESIDENCE Rooms: All guest rooms are equipped with a queen or double size bed, ensuite bathroom, colour TV, alarm clock, air conditioning and amenities. Some rooms are equipped with a pull-out sofa bed. Hotelstyle accommodations. Meals: Includes hot breakfast (for 21+ nights) Facilities: 24-hour front desk and security, multilingual staff, non-smoking building, TV lounge, kitchenettes, weekly housekeeping services, laundry facilities, underground parking. Neill Wycik s floors are sub-divided into units containing 4, 5, or 6 individual bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a kitchen/lounge common area. Private Bathroom: No. Meals: Includes continental breakfast. Facilities: Shared kitchen, common room with TV, Internet access, weight room, roof top patio, laundry facilities, snack bar, 24-hour security, and daily housekeeping provided in all common areas.
