1 2015 CERTAINTEED NATIONAL SALES MEETING DALLAS, TEXAS December 8-11, 2014
2 Welcome to the 2015 CertainTeed National Sales Meeting! This meeting marks the first time since 2006 that we have brought all CertainTeed businesses together in one room. Back then, we were celebrating the addition of the Gypsum and Ceilings businesses into the CertainTeed family, a move that allows us today to say that our company, CertainTeed, truly does offer the broadest collection of interior and exterior building products in North America. And this year s meeting takes that advantage even further. The theme, Leveraging Our Strengths, is designed to inspire you to think about the full range of possibilities that could result from this dynamic portfolio. It asks the complex question: How would you leverage a well-known and respected brand, phenomenal sales teams, and newly opened plants and production lines to reframe and refocus how we deliver sustainable, profitable growth over the short, medium and long terms? Let s take all of these great pieces, and add a new and robust initiative to drive true innovation through our businesses, higher level brand marketing aimed at consumers, and a dynamic Challenger sales and marketing model that helps us solve customers problems they don t yet know they have. Back all of that with the resources and support of our parent company Saint-Gobain, which is celebrating 350 years in 2015 as a true global business leader, and we have a truly powerful combination that will result in even greater success for CertainTeed in 2015 and beyond. So here is where you come in. For the next few days, you are in the driver s seat; to question, challenge and offer your own solutions to any and all issues we face. Real success for our company in the future will require us all to work more closely together and carry our vision to the markets you serve. Enjoy these next few days, learn from each other and best of success in 2015! John Crowe, President and CEO Saint-Gobain and CertainTeed 3
