PEMG Representative BIT Short Session 4: ACRIS, ACI World Update Members of the ACI IT Standing Committee have a number of initiatives including the Airport Community Recommended Information Services (ACRIS) program. Updates will be delivered on ongoing ACRIS projects in Europe as well as other ACI. There are many Medium, Small, and Non-Hub Airports in the US and Canada and while larger airports have more resources and money, a lot of times the smaller facilities are expected to do as much with less. This evening get together will give IT Professionals at Medium, Small, and Non-Hub airports an opportunity to network and discuss topics such as: Creating revenue streams using technology, Day to Day management utilities and software applications, Making the case for large capital projects such as Shared Tenant Services and Common/Shared Use, IT Master Planning, and how to integrate Business Concepts and Processes into an IT Department. As a follow-on to the introductory presentation we held in San Diego last fall, we will continue to investigate this issue from both the small and large airport perspective. This session explores airport technology initiatives, from an Airline perspective. We will present technologies used to support traditional airport services, for passenger experiences, and for operational excellence; all from the perspective of what airlines would like to see airports addressing. We have developed a PowerPoint Template and we are asking each company to submit their answers using the PPT template which will be displayed during the Associate Roundtable Session. BIT Session 8: Committee Discussion on 2012 Themes; Discuss Fall Meeting Agenda The themes have been finalized and managers have been named, let s start to put the concept to work! This final session will allow the committee an opportunity to prepare for the next meeting as well as a number of upcoming webinars.
