1 Issue # July 2016 With more than 10 million work hours already clocked at Bladin Point in 2016, workers from the Project took a well-earned rest last week to enjoy the Employee Fun Day with their families. More than 4,000 people flocked to Freds Pass for a day of fun and entertainment. There was something for everyone, including pony rides, a petting zoo, water activities, bubble sports and performances by the Blues Brother tribute band. The site tours to Bladin Point were once again a huge highlight, with 42 buses showing more than 2,100 people around the site to check out the world class project their loved ones are working on. Equipment displays provided by JKC subcontractors were a hit, with kids eager to dress up like Mum and Dad in mini Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). JKC Project Director, John Bramley, welcomed the crowd and thanked everyone for their hard work. Today is our way of saying thank you for your efforts in getting us to this point in construction and for embracing our values every day on site safety being number one, Mr Bramley said. I would like to thank all our families for their continued support as we work on the Project all the husbands and wives, partners and kids. The chance to dress in mini PPE was too good to miss. You are the reason for safety being our number one value, the reason why we put safety before everything else that we do at work. The world class safety culture of the Ichthys Project Onshore LNG Facilities was reiterated at this year s INPEX and JKC Contractor Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Forum. More than 100 senior workers from INPEX, JKC and subcontractors attended the annual forum in Darwin, with this year s theme Finishing Strong a key focus. Forum attendees renewed their commitment to safety across all areas of the Project.

4 Transporting our people is a complex and highly organised logistical operation. Private vehicles are excluded from Bladin Point with transportation of our workers by JKC s bussing contractor. Buses are the safest and most effective way to transport our workers. In undertaking bus transportation, as with everything we do, the safety of the community and our workers is our highest value. We all need to safely share our roads and highways. We travel along routes approved by the Northern Territory Government. What routes will the buses travel? JKC s transportation map, including our park n ride locations, used by workers living locally, is provided below with the bus routes highlighted in red.
