3 History of the India Rubber Expo With its inception in 2001, the India Rubber Expo, is Asia s largest and one of the most anticipated events in the regional rubber industry. This year, it will be held at the Chennai Trade Centre, Chennai. The Expo continues to offer a unique opportunity for Indian companies to meet, share information with and plan developments with international businesses. It is a vital part of the thriving rubber industry, and a clear indicator of India s own status as the second fastest growing economy in the world. Established in the AIRIA comprises over 1200 members and is headquartered in Mumbai with regional offices in Chennai, Kolkata. Delhi, Mumbai and a chapter office in Pune. The Expo will extend over an area of 25,000 square metre, will see about 30,000 visitors and have 400 participating businesses from India and abroad. IRE 2017 is a must for everyone working in the field of rubber sciences and allied materials and has created tremendous interest both in India and globally. Additional space will be billed at the rate prevailing at the time of booking. Bookings can be done for a minimum of 9 square metre or more under the Shell Scheme and 27 square metre or more under the Bare Space scheme. The Premium for open sides will be extra - applicable on the regular price and not on the discounted rate. (10% for 2 sides open, 15% for 3 sides open, 20% for island booth) A Refundable Security Deposit of 10% is applicable to all exhibitors (Minimum of 10,000 INR or USD 250 which ever is higher) A standard 9 square metre shell stall will be provided with 1 table, 2 chairs, 3 spotlights, 1 five amp socket and 1 dustbin. Bare space exhibitors are not eligible for the same. Schedule of Payments will be intimated. All payments (100% of total amount) are to be made by the 30th of November If payments are not made by then, the booking shall stand cancelled and the amount paid will be forfeited. Stall allocation will be on a "First Come First Served Basis" on payment of 50% of the stall charges. Stall allocation will be at the discretion of the organizers. Taxes at the time of event as applicable will be extra. Please remember that the booking is non-refundable and non-transferable. If a booking is cancelled at any point of time, the total amount paid until that date will be forfeited. 05
