2 Network Events MILEX: JOINT WARRIOR Military exercise JW 171 (JOINT WARRIOR 16-2) will take place in the UK from March 26 to April 06. Large scale exercise concentrated mainly in Scotland (including the Western Isles, North West Approaches and the Borders region), North East England (including Spadeadam EWTR) and over the North Sea. Scottish (EGPX) and LONDON (EGTT) FIR/UIR affected. Low to Medium operational impact expected. TIME PERIOD: from March 26 to April 06 FJA activity periods mentioned in daily NOTAMs. AIRSPACE MEASURES Air activity will take place in three Fast Jet Areas (FJAs) and "J" areas dedicated to live missile firings and maritime gunnery. A number of Danger Areas and specified locations will also be used, as described in AIC Y 007/2017. FJA NORTH and FJA SOUTH/SOUTH EAST can not be activated simultaneously. Amsterdam (EHAA), Copenhagen(EKDK), Bremen (EDWW) and Maastricht (EDYY) FIR/UIR concerned. Military exercise located mainly in Dutch/German airspace.
