3 DAY 01 USA/EUROPE Depart on your overnight flight to Europe. ITINERARY DAY 02 EUROPE/KILIMANJARO/ARUSHA Arrive in Europe this morning where you will connect with your onward flight to Kilimanjaro, Tanzania. On arrival in Kilimanjaro you will be met and transferred to your hotel situated near the town of Arusha. Arusha Coffee Lodge is close to Arusha Airport and is set amongst the coffee plantation. The hotel has 30 rooms, which are large with en suite bathrooms with separate shower and bath. There is a swimming pool and dinner at the lodge is provided around the swimming pool, which is either six-course, silver service or an a la carte menu is offered. Accommodation: Arusha Coffee Lodge (B,D) DAY 03 ARUSHA/LAKE MANYARA/NGORONGORO This morning you will be transferred to the airport for your scheduled charter flight to Lake Manyara. On arrival you will be met by your resident lodge guide and transferred to your lodge, located on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater. *PLEASE NOTE* There is a luggage limit of 33lbs (15kg) per person on the charter flight so please prepack your luggage accordingly in a soft-sided bag. The Ngorongoro Crater Lodge consists of three adjacent, glamorous camps with 30 Maasai-inspired suites perched on stilts on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater. From the outside, this unobtrusive lodge resembles a Maasai village, and was described by travel magazine, Discover Africa, as "Versailles meets Maasai in the game lodge at the edge of the world". Set in classic crescents, each stone and thatch suite has spectacular views of the crater from large glass windows in the bathroom, lounge and bedroom, yet is almost invisible from the crater floor.

4 North and South Camp have 12 suites each, while intimate Tree Camp has six suites. All have an en suite bathroom and chandelier-lit bath-tub and shower. Inspired decor and eclectic design make these romantic camps ideal for celebrating a special occasion. Accommodation: Ngorongoro Crater Lodge (Full Board) DAY 04 NGORONGORO CRATER This morning depart to the Crater Rim and descend for a morning of game viewing on the crater floor. Return to your lodge late in the day for lunch. Enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure. Ngorongoro Crater is the largest unflooded, intact caldera in the world. Known as the eighth wonder of the world, its vastness and beauty are truly overwhelming. Ngorongoro Crater itself is but a small portion of the 3,200-square-mile Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a World Heritage site that is characterized by a highland plateau with volcanic mountains as well as several craters, extensive savannah and forests. Altitudes range from 4,430 to 11,800 feet. Ngorongoro Crater is about 12 miles wide and its rim rises 1,200-1,600 feet off of its expansive 102- square-mile floor. The steep descent into the crater along winding roads takes minutes from the crater rim. The crater floor is predominantly grasslands (making game easy to spot) with two swamps fed by streams, and the Lerai Forest. The walls of the crater are lightly forested. Ngorongoro contains possibly the largest permanent concentration of wildlife in Africa, with an estimated average of 30,000 large mammals. In addition, this is one of the best reserves in Africa in which to see black rhino. Large concentrations of wildlife make Ngorongoro Crater their permanent home. Game viewing is good year-round. Because there is a permanent source of fresh water, there's no reason for much of the wildlife to migrate as they must do in the Serengeti. Accommodation: Ngorongoro Crater Lodge (Full Board)

5 DAY 05 LAKE MANYARA/GRUMETI RESERVES Transfer to the Lake Manyara Airstrip for your scheduled charter flight to the Grumeti Reserves. On arrival you will be met and transferred by your resident guide to your camp, game viewing enroute. *PLEASE NOTE* There is a luggage limit of 44lbs (20kg) per person on the charter flight so please prepack your luggage accordingly in a soft-sided bag. Scheduled Charter flights times are estimates and may include multiple stops. Serengeti is derived from the Maasai language and appropriately means "endless plain." The park's 5,700 square miles makes it larger than the state of Connecticut. Altitude varies from 3,120 to 6,070 feet. As you enter the park gate you will take a game drive through the open plains. Nearly 500 species of birds and 35 species of large plains animals can be found in the Serengeti. The park may contain as many as 1.5 million wildebeest, 500,000 zebra, 300,000 Grant's gazelle, 250,000 Thomson's gazelle, 120,000 impala, 70,000 topi, 20,000 buffalo, 9,000 eland, 8,000 giraffe, 1,000 lion and 800 elephant. The huge herds of plains game such as wildebeest, zebra and antelope dominate the park while the attendant predators such as lion and cheetah are to be found amongst the many kopjes scattered across the plain. Leopard can often be found draped in the trees along the Seronera River. From December-May wildebeest, zebra, eland and Thomson's gazelle usually concentrate on the treeless short-grass plains in the extreme southeastern Serengeti and western Ngorongoro Conservation Area near Lake Ndutu in search of short grass, which they prefer over the longer dry-stemmed variety. This is the best time to visit the Serengeti. In April and May, the height of the rainy season, a 4wd vehicle is highly recommended. The rut for wildebeest is concentrated over a three-week period and generally occurs at the end of April, May or early June. After a gestation period of eight and one-half months, approximately 90% of the pregnant cows will give birth on the short-grass plains within a six-week period between the mid/end of January and February. Zebra calving season is spread out over most of the year, with a slightly higher birth rate December-March. The best time to see wildebeest and zebra crossing the Grumeti River is in June/early July and November. Wildebeest move about six to 10 abreast in columns several miles long toward the western corridor. Zebra do not move in columns but in family units. As a general rule, by June the migration has progressed west of Seronera. The migration then splits into three separate migrations: one west through the corridor toward permanent water and Lake Victoria and then northeast; the second due north, reaching the Maasai Mara of Kenya around mid-july; and the third northward between the other two to a region west of Lobo Lodge, where the group disperses. At present, there are few roads in the region where the third group disperses; however, this may change.

6 During July-September, the Serengeti's highest concentration of wildlife is in the extreme north. The first and second groups meet and usually begin returning to the Serengeti National Park in late October; the migration then reaches the central or southern Serengeti by December. Grumeti Reserves is adjacent to the Western Corridor of the Serengeti, bordering the national park, and encompasses 340,000 acres of unrivalled wilderness. The area forms part of the famous migratory route, which is travelled by hundreds of thousands of animals every year. Singita Sabora Tented Camp is located on the Serengeti plains within the Grumeti Reserves private concession, beautifully decorated in grand campaign 1920s style. The nine lavish tents are air-conditioned and feature a bedroom and reading area, bathroom with bath and outdoor shower, viewing deck with your own Swarovski spotting scope, and a library lounge tent. The camp also has a dining room, lounge, wide viewing deck and swimming pool. Guests at Grumeti Reserves have access to the nearby tennis court, spa and Singita Boutique and Gallery. Accommodation: Singita Sabora Tented Camp (Full Board) OR Singita Faru Faru Lodge is built on a gently sloping hill, overlooking a waterhole and the Grumeti River. It is built in the style of a classic East African safari camp, with the suites and lodge areas decorated as a throwback to the timeless Colonial era. Each of the nine air-conditioned suites feature a picture window and deck, with your own Swarovski spotting scope, from which you can enjoy the rugged landscape, whilst at the same time, the luxurious comfort of your suite. The lodge area offers a lounge and dining room, elevated viewing decks, two swimming pool, spa and Boutique and Gallery. Enjoy game drives in the open safari vehicles with a maximum of six people. 7 OR Singita Sasakwa Lodge sits on the top of Sasakwa Hill, with awe-inspiring views over the Serengeti plains, within the Grumeti Reserves private concession. The lodge is built in the grand style of an English manor home and comprises ten luxury cottages, ranging in size from one to four bedrooms. Each airconditioned suite features a bedroom, lounge with fireplace, veranda with your own spotting scope, en suite bathroom with bath and shower, dressing area, guest bathroom, heated infinity plunge pool, direct dial telephone facilities and wireless internet access. The lodge areas offer a dining room, lounge and bar, garden room, television room with satellite television, DVD player and collection, reading library with internet facilities, billiards room, wine cellar, and gift shop, all opening onto wide verandas and sprawling lawns. 8 DAY 08 GRUMETI RESERVES/NORTHERN SERENGETI This morning you will board your scheduled charter flight to the Northern Serengeti. On arrival you will be met and transfer to your camp. Singita Mara River Tented Camp is located in the Lamai region on the Mara River. This northern area of the Serengeti offers consistently good game viewing, especially during August-October when the migration of the wildebeest is present. The six canvas tents are the epitome of safari chic with comfortable sofas and beds, en suite bathrooms and private decks with views of river. Accommodation: Singita Mara River Tented Camp (Full Board) DAY NORTHERN SERENGETI Enjoy two days of game viewing. Activities include game drives, bush walks and star gazing. Between game drives, enjoy a swim in the plunge pool, reading on the expansive decks or have a drink at the bar with views of the river. Trip Reports: The trip was amazing. The trip had a great arc to it. You guys really know how to plan a trip! George and Ephata were amazing. The Ngoronogoro Crater Lodge was beautiful and Irene was so accommodating. The tented camp (Kimondo) was also fantastic and Richard was equally as accommodating and welcoming. We mostly spent time with Godson (Misenga was with the other crew). He was such an amazing guide. His wealth of knowledge about the animals, the flora and fauna, the region. It was remarkable. He also had such great energy. He was definitely a favorite for me and my kids. And that is saying a lot because all of the guides w had were so amazing. What to say about Faru Faru... It is paradise...bernard and the other guide were also fantastic All of the transfers went so smoothly. every bit of the trip was fantastic. All in all, across the 3 lodges...we had amazing meals, incredible hospitality, fantastic game drives. Truly unforgettable! Dawn Eig
