5 DAY ONE ARRIVE IN THE OKAVANGO DELTA On arrival at the Sanctuary Stanley s Camp airstrip, a representative will meet and transfer you to the camp. The transfer time is approximately 50 minutes. Sanctuary Stanley's is situated in a 260,000-acre private concession, thus affording guests absolute exclusivity. Guest accommodation consists of eight classic styled safari tents. The afternoon is at leisure to enjoy the game viewing activities. Sanctuary Stanley s Camp Luxury tent Meal Plan: Lunch and Dinner 3 Nights DAY TWO OKAVANGO DELTA The day is at leisure to enjoy the activities on offer. Your morning might be spent with three orphaned elephants who have been brought up in the area and are used to being with humans from an early age. Every morning the elephants go for a walk around their home range, foraging for food and checking that all is well. A few people each day are able to accompany them on their walk through the bush and see the wilds of Africa through the eyes of an elephant - a truly uplifting experience that makes a lasting impression on all who share their time with the elephants (Activity is at an additional cost.) Other activities available include serene mokoro canoe excursions (subject to water levels), exclusive bush dinners, and game drives in customised, open 4 x 4 vehicles - including the rare opportunity of night drives. 6 DAY THREE OKAVANGO DELTA The morning and afternoon is a leisure to enjoy the activites on offer. A completely unique Stanley's feature is an educational experience with a group of semihabituated African elephants and a highly recommended activity at an additional cost. Other activities available include serene mokoro canoe excursions(subject to water levels), exclusive bush dinners, and game drives in customised, open 4 x 4 vehicles - including the rare opportunity of night drives. Sanctuary Stanley s Camp Luxury tent DAY FOUR CHOBE NATIONAL PARK After breakfast, your guide will transfer you to the airstrip to depart Sanctuary Stanley's Camp on a shared light aircraft charter flight to Kasane. The flying time is approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. On arrival at Kasane Airport a Sanctuary Chobe Chilwero representative will meet and transfer you to the lodge. The transfer time is approximately 10 minutes. Deep in the heart of the Botswana wilderness lies Sanctuary Chobe Chilwero, one of the most enchanting places on earth. Sanctuary Chobe Chilwero is located on the edge of Chobe National Park. In and around Chobe live the largest remaining population of elephants in the world. Enjoy thrilling guided game drives in open-sided 4X4 vehicles or join one of the acclaimed guides on a wonderous water safari on specially adapted motorboats. 7 DAY FIVE CHOBE NATIONAL PARK The day is at leisure to enjoy the game viewing activities on offer. Elephants feature largely on any activity at Sanctuary Chobe Chilwero, as the largest population left in Africa occupies this northern corner between Botswana, Zambia, Namibia and Zimbabwe. Game drives in open-sided 4 x 4 vehicles bring these grey giants into easy reach as they drink and frolic at the water's edge in their boisterous herds. Thrilling game drives lead by qualified professional guides bring guests close to hippos, buffalos, puku, antelope, lions and other creatures that gather on the banks of the Chobe River. Game drives are also the perfect opportunity for the expert guides to share their wealth of information on the area and its inhabitants. The puku, a small rusty-brown antelope, alongside impala, kudu and red lechwe, are only a few of the common antelope found here. Naturally, lion and leopard are also found in the area. Sanctuary Chobe Chilwero Thatched Cottage DAY SIX DEPARTURE Enjoy a morning game viewing activity after breakfast. You will be transferred across the border to Zambia and onwards to Livingstone Airport. The transfer is approximately 1 hour 30 minutes and the transfer time will be advised to you locally by the lodge management.
