It is famous for its annual migration of over 1.5 million wild animals and its countless Nile crocodiles. It covers 14,750 square kilometres of savannah, grassland plains, woodlands and forests. It lies in Northwestern Tanzania, at the border of Kenya. Tanzania s climate is equatorial. It is quite constant, which makes it a year-round destination. The light rain season is from November to March, with very short rains followed by sunshine. It is much warmer from December to March and there are longer rains in April and May.
