2 PROGRAM Day 1 Arrival to Taipei Visit the Chiang Kai Shek Memorial Hall Transfer to Fuxing and Mount Lala Arrival and settle into accommodation Program introduction and team building initiatives Welcome dinner and evening program Day 2 - Nature Challenge Half day rotations Visit to National protected forest high on the mountain with trees over 2000 years old Hike to natural Hot Spring deep in the mountains Dinner, reviews and evening activity Day 3 - Service Project Whole day activity Service Project - working on a local farm up on the mountain, learning the farming process from harvest to market Dinner, reviews and evening activity Day 4 - Water Challenge Whole day activity Water Safety - River hydrology, river swimming and river crossing Gorge scrambling White water river crossing in a spectacular scenery Celebratory BBQ dinner at a local Aboriginal village

3 PROGRAM Day 5 - Adventure Race Adventure Race All the skills developed over the past 5 days will be put to the test with a Adventure Race competition Intro to traditional Aboriginal costumes and artefacts, learn how to make traditional Mochi Final reviews and Certificate awards Travel to airport

4 ACCOMMODATION Both the Mountain lodge and camp ground have shower facilities and flushing toilets. They are clean and tidy plus safe and secure. MEALS The meals will be primarily local Taiwanese cuisine at neighbouring restaurants. Taiwan is famous for its fresh and delicious food. The mountain Lodge has a Local chef ad all meals are prepared fresh and eaten together as a group. EQUIPMENT APA uses and maintains a high standard of equipment for all of its activities. APA provides their own PFDs (Personal Floatation Devices), ropes, helmets, harnesses and other technical equipment. SAFETY All lead APA staff are First Aid qualified and carry radios, mobile phones and first aid kits at all times. APA follows a safety management system developed from decades of in-house senior team experience and influenced by several leading national governing bodies including: British Canoe Union, New Zealand Outdoor Instructors Award, Association of Canadian Mountain Guides, UK's Mountain Leader Training Board, and USA's Rescue 3 International amongst others. APA has developed professional skills training programs for everything from mountain biking to rock rescue, as well as delivers Risk Management courses for international school faculty. FACILITATION Our company specializes in facilitation with a high staff to student ratio of 1:12, and 1:6 when using high elements and water based activities. Each group of students will have their own APA facilitator for the entire program. Team names, song/chants and team goals will be established and team reflection and reviews carried out after each activity. Certificates will be given at the end of program.

5 OUR TEAM COST Program cost includes accommodation, meals (including snacks and filtered water), all transport once in Taiwan, experienced facilitators, program delivery, all activity & safety equipment and public liability insurance during activities.
