It attained international prestige when, in 1999 and 2000, the Grand Finale of the European PGA Challenge Tour took place featuring Professional Golfers from all over Europe. The Varadero Golf Club provides a unique atmosphere in its famous Xanadu Mansion club house. Its Mirador Bar offers a spectacular view of the pleasing contrasts between the soft green of the golf course and the turquoise blue of the sea surrounding it. 3 ALL PARTICIPANTS WILL RECEIVE ONE (1) TICKET FOR THE DRAW The decision of the Organizing Committee with regards t o the awarding of all prizes is FINAL. TECHNICAL INFORMATION The tournament will take place over a two-day period and will consist of two rounds of 18 holes. Previous/Post rounds of the competition will be on each player. Players can apply to play in pairs which will not be broken during the tournament. Foursomes will be arranged by the Golf Tournament Organizing Committee. Players require no official handicap. A Modified CALLAWAY HANDICAP SYSTEM will be set for the players on each day of competition. - No hole may be scored at more than double boggie. - Holes to be never deducted will be hidden by the Tournament Committee on each day of competition. - Format: Match Play Modality Stableford individual. HCP -Players will be grouped in three categories as follows: 1 st Category: Male (0 14 hdcap). 2 nd Category: Male (15-28 hdcap) 3 rd Category: Female (0 28 hdcap) PROGRAM WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY Practice rounds not included in the program 6:30 pm Welcome Cocktail Party, Explanation of rules, pairings and foursomes.
