2 TO: CAWV MEMBERS FROM: JAMES RIDGEWAY, CHAIRMAN CAWV PROGRAM COMMITTEE RE: 2019 CAWV MIDYEAR MEETING AT WESTIN RESORT, GRAND CAYMAN The fabulous Westin Grand Cayman Seven Mile Beach Resort & Spa is the site of the 2019 CAWV Midyear Meeting on February 8-13, Your Program Committee will be putting together an abundant mix of business, sporting and social activities to truly make the 2019 meeting one you do not want to miss. In the meantime, everyone wishing to attend must make their meeting registrations by September 28, Rooms reserved after this date will be on an availability-only basis. With February being the height of Grand Cayman s tourist season, the hotel warns us not to expect rooms to be available after our deadline. The Westin Grand Cayman Seven Mile Beach Resort & Spa has just completed a $50 million renovation program making the resort one of the best on the island! Enclosed for your review are a registration form, tentative agenda, information about the meeting, passport information and how to reserve rooms at the Westin Grand Cayman Resort. ACTION NEEDED: Fill out the enclosed reservation form and return it to the CAWV. Early Bird Registration of $1,495 must be received before September 28, Additional pricing and registration information can be found on the registration form and meeting information sheet. The link to reserve your room(s) can also be found on the registration form. Meeting registration fees include meeting costs, two nights meals and receptions, general business sessions, and the Sunday Prayer Breakfast. 4 Resort and Meeting Registration Information Room Rates Rates are $399 for Island View and $459 for Ocean Pool View plus 13% tax per room and $45.00 resort fee, per night and are applicable before and after our meeting. ALL HOTEL RESERVATIONS MUST BE MADE ONLINE THROUGH THE WESTIN RESORT AT: Meeting Registration Early Bird Registration (Couple) - $1,495 Must be received by September 28th. Regular Registration (Couple) - $1,650 Due by November 2nd. Late Registration (Couple) - $1,850 For any registration received after November 2nd. Registration (Single) - $900 Registration (Child 18 & Under) - $350 Cancellation Policy If you must cancel the meeting, full refunds will be granted 30-days prior to arrival. Passport Requirements Passports are required for this event. Many changes have been developed in passport requirements over the last year. It takes four to six weeks for the U. S. State Department to issue a passport. Members needing a passport should start the process immediately. CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 16 DO NEED A PASSPORT. New rules have been instated concerning birth certificates and legal forms of identification. Passport information can be obtained at join us in paradise
