When he arrived, Officer Morgan saw a subject lying on his back, yelling in pain, holding his lower left abdomen with his hands. The subject said about five minutes prior to police arrival, he saw a black male subject attempting to burglarize his vehicle. He said he confronted the subject and grabbed him by his arm. At that point, the two began to struggle, and the male subject punched or stabbed him with an unknown object in the left abdomen area. The subject then fled through the parking lot. The subject was described as a black male, approximately 20 years old, 5 9 or 5 10, pounds, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt pulled over his head, blue jeans and black shoes. The victim, a 19-year old San Francisco resident, was treated by paramedics and taken to San Francisco General Hospital for treatment. On Wednesday, at 1:59 PM, Officer Keith Mattos and two new officers, Officer Kenneth Kim and Officer Angelo Hamilton, conducted a pedestrian stop on a male and a female who were crossing against the light at the intersection of Sullivan Avenue and Eastmoor Avenue. The male subject, a 46-year old Fremont resident, had a no-bail parole hold. The female, a 43-year old Broadmoor resident, was fidgeting and trying to discard something without the officers seeing her. The wallet she was trying to discard contained approximately 11 grams of a white crystallized substance believed to be methamphetamine for sale. Both subjects were arrested and taken to the San Mateo County Jail. On Wednesday, at approximately 2:29 PM, an employee at the First National Bank on Mission Street reported seeing some suspicious subjects in the parking lot and felt they were going to attempt some sort of fraudulent activity. One subject went into the bank and tried to cash a check but the signature didn t match the identification. Officers questioned all four subjects, searched their vehicles, and numerous stolen property and fraudulent checks were found. One subject, a 24-year old female Pacifica resident, was arrested for identity theft, forgery, burglary, conspiracy and committing a felony while on bail. Another subject, a 27-year old San Francisco
2 resident, was arrested for identity theft, forgery, burglary, conspiracy and financial elder abuse. Kudos goes to the alert bank employee! On Thursday, at 5:50 PM, Officer William Chan was dispatched to the intersection of Brunswick Street and Wellington Avenue on a report of an indecent exposure. The reporting party, a 26-year old Daly City resident, said she had just gotten off the bus on Hillside Boulevard and was walking northbound on Brunswick Street towards Wellington Avenue when she was contacted by a subject in a silver SUV who asked her where Crocker Avenue was. The victim pointed towards the direction and saw that the subject had his penis outside of his pants and was masturbating. She immediately walked away and saw the subject leave. The subject is described as a Filipino male adult, mid 30 s, 5 7, shaved head with a circular face and a tired look on his face. He was wearing a white tee-shirt and light blue jeans. The vehicle may have been a Toyota RAV4, and the back windows were possibly tinted. Robberies There was one robbery and two attempted robberies during the past week. On Saturday, at approximately 9:11 AM Officer Robert Kett was flagged down on the 900 block of King Drive by a subject who reported that an elderly female was the victim of a purse snatch. The victim, a 65-year old Daly City resident, said she was walking along the sidewalk when an unknown subject ran up from behind her and snatched her purse from her left arm, knocking her to the pavement. The purse contained miscellaneous identification and keys. The subject who stole her purse was described as a possible Hispanic or Filipino male, years old, black crew cut hair, clean shaven, approximately 5 10, slender build and last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt and blue jeans. A possible suspect has been identified, and this investigation is continuing. The victim did not suffer any injuries. On Monday, at 7:44 PM, Officer Jason Gonzales and Officer Jaime Bermudez were dispatched to the 200 block of Oriente Street on a report of an attempted robbery that had occurred near Martin Street and Accacia Street. The victim, a 13-year old Daly City male resident, said he left the Boys and Girls Club on Martin Street and was walking down Martin Street when he saw three occupied vehicles near the corner at Rio Verde Street. The victim described the vehicles as a brown GMC/Yukon SUV with large rims and two black Ford Crown Victorias. The victim said he was on his cell phone as he walked past the SUV. He said a subject in the SUV followed him, simulated a gun near his right side, underneath his shirt and said, Where do you live? You see those people back there were gonna chase you down. The victim said he then ran northbound on Accacia Street when one of Ford Crown Victorias started to follow him. The victim said the passenger told him, I got a weapon, you better watch out. Give me your money and cell phone. The victim then ran to a house where he stayed and called for his mother to pick him up. There was no loss. On Monday, at approximately 8:52 PM, Officer Sean Begley and Officer Karen Douglas were dispatched to an attempted robbery via handgun that occurred in a carport on the unit block of Terrace View Court. The victim, a 26-year old male Daly City resident, said he pulled into his carport and was retrieving items from the trunk when an unknown black male aimed a gun at him and said, Give me the bag. Give me the camera bag. The victim said he couldn t, and then the subject grabbed a backpack which was on the victim s shoulders, and a struggle ensued. The victim said the suspect pointed the gun to the back of his neck and said he was going to shoot him. The victim kept struggling with the suspect, and the suspect then ran west on Terrace View Court. The suspect was described as a black male, years old, 5 10, average build and wearing a black hoodie. The Daly City Fire Department arrived on scene and examined the victim s injuries, which included two scrapes to both knees and an abrasion to the upper left
3 cheek. On the back of the victim s neck was an imprint of a circle, which the victim stated was the result of the muzzle of the gun being jabbed into his neck. The victim declined medical treatment. Residential Burglaries There was one residential burglary and one attempted residential burglary during the past week. Last bulletin, I inadvertently reported this burglary as occurring last week. It actually occurred this week. On Monday, at approximately 1:25 AM, a residence on the 100 block of Palisades Drive was burglarized by an unknown suspect who removed the screen from an open window, entered the residence but did not take anything. The victim heard a subject walking around in the kitchen, opened the victim s bedroom while the victim was in it, and the subject fled when the victim confronted him. The subject could only be described as an unknown race male, possibly wearing a beanie, dark clothing, gloves and a backpack. Officers were unable to locate the suspect.
