Mileage is the distance from Hwy 94: 4/10 mile - pass the Juvenile Ranch Facility 6/10 mile - continue S on the unpaved road 9/10 mile - continue past the Castle Rock Ranch, the unpaved road curves to the left around the ranch property 1 mile - turn right at the fork of unpaved roads, follow the fence line S uphill 1.2 miles - continue S under the high voltage line, the US border wall and PCT monument are visible in the distance 1.6 miles - arrive at the Southern Terminus of the PCT at the US-Mexico Border

Next water after LKMorenaCG may be 001 [Juvenile Ranch] in 18.7 miles 36 1m 36 1m At mile 20 the PCT crosses the intersection of Lake Morena Dr and Lake Shore Dr near trailhead parking next to the campground. To continue northbound on the PCT follow Lake Shore Dr N for 2/10 mile.the campground office is 3/10 mile NW on Lake Morena Dr. 36 1m 36 1m 36 1m m 36 1m 36 1m At mile 14 the PCT makes a sharp right turn and joins unpaved S Boundary Rd [014]. In 3/10 mile pass an unpaved and unsigned road on your left. Do not take this dead-end road! Graffiti is the ultimate in bad LNT! -Halfmile As you leave Boulder Oaks Campground you walk a short distance along Old Hwy 80. If you look directly across the road from the "Rural Bus" sign you see a tree and a large rock. Native American morteros or grinding holes can be found in the rock. These holes were slowly formed by grinding seeds, pods and nuts.
