The will be held in Perth 13th-15th November 2019 at Crown Perth, Western Australia. The annual HITH has become a cornerstone of the HITH Calendar and is the must attend HITH event of the year. The HITH will strive to offer plenty of networking opportunities to meet and interact with colleagues from Australia, New Zealand as well as our invited speakers, sponsors and exhibitors. The tradition of providing a quality conference, along with our social program will continue in We look forward to welcoming our keynote speaker, Professor Linda DeCherrie from Mt Sinai School of Medicine in New York who will share insights from the US that are relevant to HITH in Australasia. 3 CONFERENCE OVERVIEW WA 4% INTL 2% ACT 1% NSW 30% Role of HITH in Australia and about HITH Society Hospital in the Home (HITH) services deliver selected types of patientcentred multidisciplinary acute care to suitable, consenting patients at their home or clinic setting as an alternative to inpatient (hospital) care. HITH is clinical care that reduces the length of stay in hospital or in some instances can avoid an admission altogether. The HITH Society is the peak body representing doctors, nurses, allied health, and other health care workers in Australia, Asia & the Pacific who provide Hospital in the Home (HITH) care. The HITH Society provides education, promotes networking and through its Executive Council, represents its members by providing expert commentary and lobbying Governments at a local and Federal level on HITH issues. The will incorporate a combination of plenary and breakout sessions, advance skilled workshops, a trade exhibition -incorporating poster displays and all morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea breaks for delegates as well as a full social program including a Welcome Reception and Dinner. 19 CANCELLATION POLICY GENERAL INFORMATION Please note that due to privacy regulations, the delegate list will only consist of delegates who have consented to allowing their details to be provided. CANCELLATION POLICY If cancellation of sponsorship is necessary after confirmation, the following penalties will apply: For cancellation notices received in writing before 23 September 2019, a cancellation penalty of 50% of the original package price (incl. GST) will apply Cancellation notices received after 23 September 2019 receive no refund. TERMS OF PARTICIPATION INCLUDE: The payment is offered as an unconditional grant. The sponsor has no control over content, tone or emphasis of the, allocation of funds or selection of recipients. The company will have no right or access to use the logo unless authorised by the Secretariat. The Committee does not endorse or promote any health-care related products. Companies cannot claim any relationship, endorsement or support from the collaborators.
