Mission The Taxi Council of Queensland exists to expand the total market for taxi services by: securing a beneficial legislative framework; building a positive community profile and wareness of the taxi industry; and improving the responsiveness of the industry to market demands and changes for the well-being of all taxi industry participants in Queensland. Event Overview Every industry has at least one event that brings the industry together, for the Queensland Taxi Industry there is no better place than the Annual Taxi Council Queensland Conference. Festivities will commence with the welcome reception on Wednesday evening, followed by two days of industry experts speaking on the future of the taxi industry and great functions including the Annual Conference Gala Dinner. Cancellation Policy Cancellations must be made in writing at least 30 days prior to conference commencement. No refunds applicable for cancellation made within 30 days prior to conference. Responsibilities of Sponsors It is the responsibility of sponsors to provide the materials listed in the sponsor package, once the commitment has been made. Those companies which get the most out of their sponsorships are those who actively promote their presence at the conference and provide photographs, text and any other materials in a timely manner to the organisers. 5

Centre patrons must be aware that on street parking includes a mix of restricted and non-restricted parking. Please check sign conditions for the duration of your stay. Parking compounds are also available within five and ten minute walks to the Centre entrance.
