2 WELCOMING NOTE Ahmed Al Noaimi Managing Partner IBTIKAR SYNERGY On behalf of my colleagues and the whole TEAM, I am delighted and honored to launch this event to present a number of investment opportunities in the Real Estate Sector in Bosnia and Herzegovina, by a Bosnian Delegation in Bahrain and Qatar. The Bahrain event will also cater some of our friends from the Eastern Province in KSA. We have seen a remarkable growing interest in Bosnia by all the Nationals of the GCC over the past three years, due to Bosnia s special appeal of combining European natural beauty with the warmth of Islamic Culture and Values. Our aim is to provide a number of various opportunities with information that addresses the concerns of most Gulf Investors in Bosnia. Our sister company Bahrain Bosnia Investments was set up in 2013 in Sarajevo, when we first saw the country and fell in love with it due to the welcoming hands offered by the majority of its people, combined with its super natural beauties. We believed then, and still do, that the majority of Gulf Nationals, once introduced to Bosnia and Herzegovina, will want to visit the country, enjoy the hospitality and friendliness of its people, and experience the vast arrays of super natural beauties. We have seen this dream gets unfold in front of our eyes, as the number of visitors and investors, increase in huge numbers every year. 2

3 We have also seen a growing international interest evidenced by the growth in the number of Five Star Brands Hotels in Sarajevo is this short time span. For this event, we have teamed up with Reliable Real Estate Companies, joined by a representative from the Notary Office, to address the legal issues and concerns of the Gulf Investors. Once again, I welcome you to this event, and wish you all the best بالنيابة عن زمالئي وعن جميع أعضاء فريق العمل يسعدني ويشرفني إفتتاح هذه المناسبة الستعراض عدد من الفرص االستثمارية العقارية في البوسنة والهرسك يقدمها لنا وفد من البوسنة في كل من البحرين وقطر. وسيلبي هذا الحدث في مملكة البحرين اهتمامات بعض أصدقائنا من المنطقة الشرقية للمملكة العربية السعودية أيضا. لقد شهدنا على مدى السنوات الثالث الماضية اهتماما متزايدا وملحوظا بمنطقة البوسنة من قبل كافة مواطني دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي وذلك بسبب الجاذبية الخاصة للبوسنة في الجمع بين جمال الطبيعة األوروبية و دفء الثقافة والقيم اإلسالمية. إن هدفنا هو توفير عدد من الفرص المتنوعة مع المعلومات الكافية التي تلبي اهتمامات معظم المستثمرين الخليجيين الراغبين باالستثمار في البوسنة. لقد تم تأسيس شركتنا الشقيقة البحرينية البوسنية لالستثمار في عام 3102 في سراييفو عندما شاهدنا البلد ألول مرة ووقعنا في أسر حبها وذلك نتيجة لما لقيناه من أيد ممتدة بالترحيب بنا من معظم شعبها الودود ولما شاهدناه من عظيم جمالها الطبيعي الخالب. كنا على ثقة عندئذ - وال نزال - أن غالبية مواطني الخليج متى ما تعرفوا على البوسنة والهرسك فسوف يرغبون في زيارتها والتمتع بضيافة ومودة شعبها ومعايشة الطيف الواسع والمتنوع من الجمال الطبيعي اآلسر لهذه البالد. وبالفعل فإننا نشاهد اليوم ما حلمنا به حينذاك واقعا صريحا يتكشف أمام أعيننا حيث الزوار والمستثمرون يتزايدون بأعداد هائلة عاما بعد عام. كما نشهد أيضا االهتمام الدولي المتزايد يدليل النمو في عدد فنادق الخمس نجوم ذات الشهرة العالمية في سراييفو خالل هذه الفترة الزمنية القصيرة. ولتحقيق هذا الغرض قمنا بالتعاون مع عدد من الشركات العقارية الموثوقة مصحوبين بممثل من مكتب التوثيق )كاتب العدل( لشرح المسائل القانونية وما يهم المستثمرين من دول الخليج. مرة أخرى أرحب بكم في هذا الحدث وأتمنى لكم كل التوفيق احمد النعيمي الشريك االداري ابتكار سينيرجي 3

BBI Real Estate Ltd. is also currently investing in construction of several residential buildings. Two project are already finalizes, residential building in the very old town of Sarajevo: Isevića sokak (near the brewery building) and building in the street Ispod Budakovića, residential complex Sarajevo Panorama. In 2009 it was re-registered as BBI Real Estate Ltd. and currently employs 23 skilled workers, most of whom were engaged in the project BBI Center. Shareholders in BBI Real Estate Ltd. are Islamic Development Bank and Bosna Bank International d.d. Sarajevo. Total founding capital was close to 40 million.
