19 John Brown Walk 1.1 It must be easier to get to the new facility than the existing one and the experience of arrival must feel safe and welcoming. Public Car Park 3.1 The facility must support the communication of health promotion and information on services for those visiting to supoprt carers/patients or in maintaining their own well being. There must be options for where you wait, allowing people to wander and still feel connected, join in social groups, occupy children in play, or sit more quietly. The spaces must deal well with noise (lower it) so the place feels calm. Staff areas must be visible (to feel connected with the appointment and safe) and there must be no hidden corners.
